Baggallini Everyday Bagg

First of all, I found the many dozens of reviews that I read on this bag to be incredibly confusing. There was a main reoccurring theme though...that nearly everyone liked the prior version of this bag much better than this one and that this bag was too small. People listed vast differences in what all they could (or could not) put in the bag. And this left my head nearly spinning. (BTW, Baggallini has yet a newer version of this bag than this, which has gone back to many of the same design elements that the bag you all miss has. Meanwhile, I'll review THIS version, as it's the only one I've ever had). I am a small bag person. I carry primarily five things. 1: My reading glasses in a hard (but slim) case, 2: My iPhone 11 (in an Otterbox case), 3: a Chapstic 4: my car key fob and 5: My credit cards, grocery cards, etc (the same stuff everyone else caries). I want a bag that can carry these things and not much more. I want a light weight, small cross body bag that I barely know is there. And in this bag, I found it. In the numerous reviews I read, there was a lot of discrepancy about glasses cases fitting in the main compartment. Some said "yes" to this and many said "no". Since this is a must for me, I fully expected to have this bag arrive in the mail, only to boomerang back to the seller the next day because it is too small. Some things you just have to find out for yourself. Not only is it NOT too small, I could fit THREE glasses cases in the main compartment, which means that my one glasses case fits easily and leaves room for my iPhone in there too and tissues and a chapstick and that compartment is not even full yet. So if you want to know if your glasses or sunglasses will fit, the answer is "YES!" if you get the pewter floral color (see the photo of my bag with the glasses case in it). I am now wondering if the different colors of this bag are slightly different sizes. Perhaps some colors are slightly smaller? What else could explain this discrepancy? The fabric is stiff (which generated a lot of complaints). I like it this way, because if it is too supple, the bag will fold in on itself when you put it over your shoulder. The back pocket has a snap closure and it easily fits my iPhone 11 in an Otterbox case in it, but I prefer my phone inside of a zipped compartment (just a preference). The front snap pocket with a flap might work for movie or concert tickets but won't accommodate much more. This would be more useful as the zip pocket that it used to be. The purse strap is unremarkable...not great, not bad. It adjusts to be pretty long to function as a cross body, so I'm happy. And the color of the strap looks good with the color of the bag. Good enough for me. I won't comment on the wallet part of the bag because everyone else has said plenty. It's very nice and works great. I've come to believe over the years that crusty old suit-clad men in boardrooms deign handbags for women. Most purses are ridiculous in how they function (or in most cases don't function). Let's face it most phones are similar in size these days. Most classes cases are similar in size. Most of the things that women carry are predictable sizes. These bags that come short by half an inch just show the complete and utter lack of research that bag designers are doing. If Baggallini used that formula for this bag, those men at least consulted with their wives and girlfriends, OR...maybe...just MAYBE...women designed it? Based on the incredible functionality of this bag I feel certain that it must be the latter. At any rate, this bag is designed for how a women lives and functions in this world. What a refreshing change!

I’ve owned this for almost 2 years - using this exclusively as my purse. I wish I could give my review 7 stars! It is soooo well made, nothing is coming apart, absolutely everything is holding together well! I love it so much I needed to rave in a review; which I never do. I have definitely put it through a lot and I’m SO impressed with the quality. I have 5 kids and am out and about a lot with this in tow. It’s not a stranger from being tugged on by small hands. Yet, it’s held together with no signs of falling apart. The strap is still silky smooth, nothing fraying. It’s the perfect length for crossbody holding, allowing you 2 free hands. All clasps, zippers, and metal parts are intact and holding firm. The lining is in perfect shape. Often that’s the part that wears first since it’s a lighter weight fabric. However, the stitching is holding fast and no wear or holes anywhere in sight. It’s a perfect lighter weight fabric, yet thick and heavy duty enough that it’s in perfect shape. The nylon outer fabric must be made from magic. No holes, no fraying, nothing at all is showing wear. Including the most abused places like the ends of the main zipper pocket where the straps are sewn and is pulled when zipping open or closed. This is where all my other purses have met their demise, yet this bag is still holding strong! I slide my smart phone down the back with the button- it’s a perfect size and holds it snuggly enough I don’t worry about it falling. With it being made from fabric, when it gets dirty you can wash it without worry. I love the size, it’s perfect for someone who doesn’t want to haul everything and the kitchen sink. With that being said, it’s amazing how much I CAN fit! There are so many pockets I surprise myself often marveling that I can fit as much as I do, almost like Mary Poppins’ carpet bag. Right now I have 33 cards: library, rewards, debit, membership etc. 10 reciepts, Cash and coins, 7 bandaids, 4 hair elastics, finger nail clippers and file, 5 safety pins, a sewing kit, folding scissors, 5 large tampons, box of mints, small tube of lotion, 4 pens, my keys, cuticle cream, 3 tubes of chapstick, 1 lip gloss, small mirror, keychain tape measure, 1 pacifier, and a few more odds and ends. I’ll be back for more of this exact bag even if it never wears out! LOVE it!!!

This is a great bag. It is just not for me. I returned it because I don't care for the built in wallet. I think it is highly convenient and well-designed. I just did not care to store my stuff that way. Maybe you might! There is lots of room to store various goods with many zippered pockets as well as the front magnetic snap closure pocket. The purse looks good on. There are many different colors to choose from that coordinate extremely well with any outfit. The purse itself is very light weight. This purse is an essential in my mind for traveling. Baggallinis are great like that. While this product did not work for me, it might work for you. I highly recommend this product. I set the purse next to a normal skein of yarn to give context to its size. If you are use to carrying a large handbag overflowing with “ stuff” this will be a big adjustment . But for me, that was the idea. I was tired of hauling around so much stuff just cause I could. The front zipper wallet holds all my important cards, money and change. A small front pocket is perfect to slip in those lists that I always lose in a bigger bag. The larger zipped center area is large enough for me to carry a small glass case for my reading glasses, my sunglasses , gum and tissue. There is a small zipper pocket inside as well as a pen holder. On the backside is a pocket with a center snap. I have room for my phone and my car keys in this pocket. I have a cloth sleeve for my cell phone so my keys don’t scratch my phone. There is room in the main zipper part for either of these items, but I find this back pocket more convenient . I bought this smaller bag because I will soon be taking a trip and did not want to be saddled with a large heavy bag. But now after testing it out for a couple of weeks, I have decided to stay downsized. The bag quality seems just fine. All zippers and the snap work easily. It’s a great little bag. Just understand that the bag is small. But if that’s what you are looking for, as I was, it works.

Since I discovered Baggallini a few years ago, it's the only brand I've carried. I like to be streamlined and organized, and these bags fit the bill. I no longer carry a wallet, since the organizer compartments take its place, and that makes my bag lighter and easier to navigate. All the other pockets and compartments let me keep my things just where I can find them immediately. The Everyday Bagg is my current favorite, and I hope to find it in summer colors next year. The front flap compartment is perfect for my iPhone 6; I think an iPhone 6+ would fit there, too. I like that I can get to my phone just by pulling up the magnetized flap, and I don't have to mess with a zipper or an elasticized pocket. The double-zipper wallet section is great. I use my debit card often, so I keep it at the top and keep the zipper pulls so I only have to move one of them to reach the debit card. My most-used cards go on the front wall, with cash in the slip pocket behind them. Coins go in the center zippered pocket, store cards (Kohls, Von Maur, etc.) on the back wall, and store coupons loose in front of them. I haven't put anything in the zippered pocket in back of the store cards. The main section holds my "purse" things: Kleenex, medication box, comb, eye drops, mints, and a business card case. The loop holds my Burt's Bees lip balm. There's a zippered pocket on the back wall of this section, too, that I haven't filled yet. The very back has a full-length magnetized slip pocket that is good for receipts, car key, or other thin things. The bag is lightweight and easy to carry crossbody so my hands are free and my purse isn't constantly sliding down my arm. I highly recommend Baggallini and the Everyday Crossbody Bagg in particular. No one gave me a reduced price or any other incentive to leave this review, so you can trust it.

This is my first review and it was prompted by how impressed I am by this bag! I have tried many, many purses/bags for travel. This small bag is the absolute best one I have ever tried. 21 days in Europe and it worked like a charm. I didn't think I would like a bag that also acted as a wallet. boy was I wrong. Having a separate zipper pocket for bills, coins and credit cards made travel a breeze. I never had to worry about taking out and leaving a wallet. I could turn the purse so that the wallet section was against my body and not worry that my wallet would be taken. The bag is not big, that is one of its charms. The wallet section was easy to get into, but there is also the center section and a back snap pocket as well as a front snap pocket. I carried: an insulin pen in a cooling case, kleenex, small foldable bag for goodies I might buy, a small portable battery charger for my iPhone, glucose tablets and even a small water bottle in the center case. My bus/train card was in a small front snap section. There are also zippered places for flat small things in each section. My phone was either in the center section or in the back snap pocket, and my "wallet" was all by itself in its own section. I love Baggallini bags but this one is amazing. Small, easy to carry and you don't have to "dig" around to find stuff. Also a good size so people (husband/partner) don't say "can you put this in your purse?)

This is an updated review, April 7, 2023: The "beach" (brown/beige) everyday crossbody photo that I have posted here shows a gem of a bag. I recently got it from Amazon Warehouse, new with tags, at a deep discount. I love it! It's beautiful, versatile, small but mighty, well constructed. I had originally bought one in red a while back but (mildly regretfully) returned it because at the time it seemed too small for me. It was also well made and a beauty. I recently saw these everyday bags on sale at good discounts here on Amazon and decided to go for a second and maybe third one. I ordered the Pewter Cheetah. It, too, was beautiful, however with some quality issues. The wallet section was misshapen and did not zip without great difficulty. For me, that made the bag pretty useless, so I returned it. I figured I'd give it another shot and ordered another one in black. It, too, had its issues. The lining in the main compartment was not sewn down, and on the front of the wallet section there were bright white thread nubs sticking out which were too short to trim off nor to hide. The lining quality inside the front pocket was pretty loose, too. Once more disappointed, I returned the black bag. So I am left with just the beach one, which makes me quite happy. I have decided to just use it and enjoy it for as long as it lasts, hopefully a long time. In conclusion, I would give the bag 5 stars for design, looks and versatility but with the caveat that if you buy one on Amazon it's a craps shoot as far as it being first quality.

I have used the Everyday Bagg daily for about 6 weeks and for 3 different trips. I purchased the newest model (with the front flap) in pewter cheetah emboss based on reviews by people who said they preferred the previous model because it had more capacity. I however, need to be forced to downsize, so I preferred both the design of the new model and its (apparently) smaller capacity! It has been perfect for me- especially as a travel bag. I love the color and print: it’s one that works well whether I am dressed very casually or dressed up a bit- so I only n eed to take one purse. (I took it to an informal outdoor wedding!) I love that I don’t have to take a wallet; in the front zip-around section there’s room for plenty of credit cards, my driver’s license and currency and receipts, plus a zip pocket for change. The front pocket easily and snugly fits my iPhone 6s. The main compartment is big enough for what I consider essentials: a lip balm, a lipstick, a lip gloss, a small inhaler, a compact style mirror, travel tube of hand cream, small bottle of eye drops, pack of gum, travel Kleenex pack and a microfiber cloth to clean my glasses. There’s a small zippered compartment right under the pen loop (I carry a pen too!) you can use too (I have panty liners there). The back of the purse has an outside pocket with a snap. I have a small notepad, additional permanent marker and individually packed hand wipes (I’m ready for anything!). I have the purse pretty packed, but it’s not bulging and is easy to wear over the shoulder. Overall, I am very pleased with this purse. It’s been the perfect travel companion!

This is a great little bag. It's big enough to hold what I need it to and fits my phone nicely(I put it in the larger outer pocket with the snap closure). The zippered wallet section holds all my cards and coupons and cash and the outer pocket under the flap holds my lipstick and lip balm and compact mirror. It is sturdy and well made and sits on the table without falling over. I love the thick adjustable strap and the lightweight canvas material.

Das wunderbare an dieser Tasche ist, dass sie im Grunde ein Geldbeutel ist, in welchem man noch viele andere Dinge verstauen kann. In die vorderste Klappe passt mein iPhone SE. Im der Geldtasche mit dem Doppelreissverschluss ist ein großes Fach für Münzen, ein weiteres verschließbares Fach für Geld, das nicht sofort ins Auge fallen soll oder ähnlichem , ein offenes Fach für Geldscheine, genügend Fächer für Karten. Kleinkram hat noch locker Platz. Die hinterste Tasche fasst eine fahrbare Einkaufstasche, Schlüssel, Taschentücher, Kuli.und noch mehr. Es ist ein weiteres Fach mit Reißverschluss für Ausweise, die ich nicht vorne im Geldbeutel haben möchte. Außen dann zum Körper hin befindet sich ein Fach mit Druckknopf für flache Dinge oder ein größeres Smartphone. Dazu ist sie klein, leicht und passt mühelos in eine größere Tasche, falls ich mal Taschenbuch, Faltschirm und/oder Trinkflasche mitnehmen möchte. Es passt alles rein, was für mich wichtig ist. Ich benutze keine andere Tasche mehr. Einen Vorgänger hatte ich 10 Jahre im Gebrauch. Das Schulterband habe ich an einer Seite mit einem drehbaren Karabiner versehen, so das ich die Tasche auch problemlos um die Hüfte tragen kann, ohne sie über den Kopf ziehen zu müssen. Das ist im Winter bei Kapuzenwetter praktisch. Die Idee habe ich vom Vorgänger übernommen.

This bag is the perfect size for containing all necessary belongings without being too heavy or hurting your shoulder. There was a learning curve - had to ditch my wallet, which was tough, but once accomplished, I was so glad I did. Bank notes, change, credit cards, phone and glasses - - - perfect for what I need.
