hmmm... maybe you are an AGGRESSIVE player? could be a defective paint/annealing job on that particular unit. i used to have what appears to be an identical unit (have either lost it or donated to someone else) but never had that problem. yeah, maybe i'm not playing "hard enough" -- as this problem (to me) is unique and yes, strange
