Magimix Black Food Processor lid for 5200XL 4200XL

After many years of service I finally had to replace the lid. This was perfect and saved me from buying a new processor

As a result of the ordered product (replacement lid for a Magimix food processor) not being available from a product agent in South Africa, it was ordered from Amazon UK on Tuesday 3rd March 2021 and delivered to our Johannesburg home address by courier on Friday 5th March 2021, despite the Covid19 challenges affecting both air travel schedules and businesses - Amazon, within their ordering systems, handle the import tax component at the point of sale, so there is no holdup at customs on arrival - an accolade in all respects to Amazon. The replacement part itself is to the renown robust Magimix quality for a hard-working kitchen appliance of the highest, reliable quality - an accolade to Magimix as well

Great service and super speedy

This lid was a second replacement for the original, purchased just over a year ago. It has broken so easily in the past, in spite of all the precautions I took, that I treat the food processor with extreme cautionl and grit my teeth every time I switch it on. On reflection, I think the problem is less with the black plastic parts than with the actual fitting onto the bowl. Such a pity that a great machine should have this weakness

A great replacement item

I have had my Magimix for 30 yrs.It did everything I needed.,so when the bowl / pusher & lid died ,I wasn’t able to replace them .Plus I was dubious about where replacements would come from. However there is a site on line that supply all Magimix ,plus “new “ for old . I didn’t find them at the time ,so had bought the lid/bowl.It still did not work……….I needed the Pusher , which took a long time to deliver,sounded like Chinese ? Anyway it works & it cost nearly 100 pounds.That was a bi g saving! I can get back to baking large quantities!
