Best air fryer ever!
This is the best air fryer. Everything I make comes out perfect. There is no guess work with the pre programs and the thermometer. It bring air frying to a new level. I got the ceramic one. It is super easy to clean. I use it several times a day. Steaks turn out great ! The customer service is awesome! They answer any questions in a timely and friendly manner. I would recommend this product and would buy it again. The window is nice to check on your food. But honestly the best thing about it is the thermometer. Everything comes out perfect.

I thought I hated it. I was wrong!!!
So let me tell you...first time I used it I absolutely hated it! In truth it was because I didn't know what I was doing! I have been an air fryer snob for a couple of years. Yep. We exist. I started out with the bucket type like this when they first came out. I used it until it died. I saw they had come out with some really slick and fancy looking ones that were like an oven on your counter but was an air fryer!!! A door, shelves and a rotisserie. It was a name brand. I put my nose up at anything that had a bucket. What a dummy. Lol. I thought they were all just junk and limited in usage. Seriously...I couldn't have been more wrong!! My big unit that they called "space saving" was such a pain in the butt to clean!!! So much so it just sat there and was only used for the occasional crisping up of something. And the rotisserie? Great if you wanted to cook a pigeon! Anyway I got this one because quite frankly I am a new relatively younger widow that just can't get myself to cook for just me. And to dirty the other air fryer unit was simply not worth the clean up. I then went to Amazon after seeing this one on Pinterest and bought it. I was here in 3 days. I decided to test it out the day I got the Tastee by making French fries. I am a low carb eater but had some french fries my husband loved in the freezer. I am only 5'2" so I had to put a stool in the kitchen to see the button panel on top of the unit. It's very pretty and self explanatory. Didn't have to read the instructions. Lol. So I hit the power button, touched the pad with the picture of the French fries. Realized I had to have the bucket in the machine. I emptied out the French fries out of the bucket and slid it into the machine. I was confident. I hit all the appreciate buttons for French fries and waited for some sort of beep or something to tell me it was pre heated and to put the food in. It never beeped. I was frustrated. This is where the hate came in. I thought "what a piece of junk!" Doesn't even tell you when to put your food in! It taunted me. I got back up on the stool and hit the buttons again and looked closely at the temp and time. It actually said it takes 28 frigging minutes to cook French fries!!!! Seriously?!!!! The hatred for this thing was building. It seemed like an expensive toaster oven or something. I took the matter into my own hands and hit air fry, temp to 400° for 8 minutes. It started running. Not loud at all like my old one. I got all excited when I saw I could hit a light button and see what was going on and it would turn off the light after a few minutes. I'm the one that walks away when I turn the oven light on. Anyway after doing the shake shake thing half way through and finished cooking until the beep and the fries were perfect!! Slightly crisp and tender inside the way I like them. Since then I've made bacon in it in 8 minutes and didn't have to turn it as anticipated. I took out the bottom grate and put it into the sink. Poured off most of the grease and threw in some fork blended eggs to make scrambled eggs. 400° and opened and closed the basket pushing the eggs around on the bottom with a rubber spatula to make perfect fluffy eggs. I was amazed. Yesterday I made a strip steak from frozen and it was perfect!! No need for the probe. I just kept an eye on it. I eat Ketovore so this is perfect for me and no messes to clean up. I'm telling you...I'm impressed. I got the $149 version. If the one for $199. Goes on sale I will probably buy it and put it away for when I need to replace this one. I absolutely positively recommend this product. It's perfect for one person or a family of 4. I am going to my widow/widower support group and will definitely tell the folks about this air fryer. Not cooking for yourself is a major problem for a lot of us widowed people. This has helped immensely. Love it! Again .. highly recommend this air fryer!

GREAT COMPACT AIR FRYER WITH TEMPERATURE PROBE FOR MEAT LOVERS
This air fryer is PERFECT for me! I have about 5 others, and this one will be the only one I use from now on. I never would do a steak in my others and preferred them cooked on the grill. That has changed. I may not even refill my propane tanks this year. I also love that I can do a final sear on my steak. If I want a darker crust, I just blast it on air fry mode at 450 degrees for 2 minutes. You can turn on the light to check on food without opening the drawer. The light turns back off automatically! With the temp probe, you can cook items to your exact preference. It has many preset temps for different meats, but you can still tweak them if you want a different temp setting, and it will save that in the preset buttons for the next time. I'm used to a 6 qt, but the 5.5 qt is adequate for me, since it does a superior job on my steaks. I can fit 1 big, or 2 smaller ribeye steaks. I mostly eat steak, but chicken and pork come out wonderful and moist. I'm looking forward to using the other functions in the future. It isn't very loud and it's a breeze to clean with the ceramic coating. It's more money than others, but I think the ceramic coating and temp probe make it worth the extra cost. By the way, the temp probe is right on with my Thermapen ONE. It works with Wi-Fi, but it won't work with a Hotspot. Because of all the presets, it doesn't really matter to me, but I thought I'd mention it. I just got a new oven, but I don't think I'll be using it much now!

Overall Great Air Fryer!
Overall, I've been pleased with this air fryer. I've cooked a wide variety of foods in it and almost all have come out great! First though, I was disappointed that it came with the top glass scratched. This has a touch screen and when it arrived, the screen wasn't covered by any sort of protective film. The scratches don't change it's functionality, but it's sad to open your new toy, only to find it looking used already. One other negative is how easily the basket scratched. After only a few uses, I noticed a scratch in the basket already. I'm typically very careful with my utensils so I was surprised to see a scratch. This cooks amazing bacon! Being carnivore, we eat meat exclusively and bacon all the time. Works great for salmon and ground beef. I've tried cooking a steak and wasn't impressed with the outcome. We like our steaks cooked on cast iron, so maybe expecting an air fryer to have the same result is asking a bit too much. However, using the probe did cook the steak to the level of doneness we wanted. Will try again to give it a fair test. We cooked bone-in chicken thighs, and while we didn't get the crispy skin that everyone raved about, the chicken was juicy and cooked thoroughly. My non-carnivore family members love how it cooks Brussels sprouts and potatoes. Crispy and delicious every time! The size of the air fryer is great for our shrinking family, since we're almost empty nesters. Larger families would probably want something bigger. The counter footprint is also a bonus; small and square is great! Despite the damaged screen, I've enjoyed playing with this air fryer and feel I've put it through its paces. I'm glad I got it and look forward to cooking more types of food in it!

Does the Job!
Loving this! I purchased this because it is ceramic, rather than with the non-stick. I have had it for a few months now and it has saved me on occasion. My household eats the carnivore way so we grill on the daily. I do not grill so when my beau is out-of-town or there is a downpour of rain (which happens from time to time in Florida), I need a way to cook. I started with burger patties and it is so easy to use because you put the temperature gauge into the meat and find the programming on the app and start. There is no program for burger patties so I use the steak setting and it works fine. It even tells you when the flip the meat! And, for me, it always turns out just right. I have cooked burger patties and steak and it is always to my medium-rare liking. Very easy to clean! I just put water in it right after and then use a brush to clean. And place it in the dishwasher. The temp gauge also easy-to-clean and fits right back in its little spot on the right side of the air-fryer. i know it may seem expensive but it is what I need and worth the price. It fits perfectly on our kitchen counter top and I have a little sliding tray with wheels so I bring it out further (so not under the cabinet) to cook and then slide it right back when done.

HIGHLY recommended
This is my first air fryer. After six months of use I have no issues or complaints with the Tastee Air Fryer. It is well designed and made of quality materials. Great product. I use it quite often and find it very convenient. I have cooked a variety of foods with it. Steaks, salmon and chicken have turned out great. And using the temperature probe it cooks a perfect medium rare steak! Wings, fries, onion rings and everything else turns out delicious. I also like the phone app that lets me know when the food is ready…really cool. The cooking compartment size is perfect and clean up couldn’t be easier. I have recommended this one to friends and family. The Tastee support team contacted me recently to see if I am satisfied with the air fryer. Not many companies do that. Nice to know that they care about their customers. Try this one won’t be disappointed.

The most annoying appliance I own
I bought this because of Steak and Butter Gal and she really left a lot out of her review about this air fryer. It shuts off within a few seconds of you opening it. So if you need to flip something it shuts off and then you have to enter every single thing again for custom items. It doesn't remember your last entry and it's a pain to enter your temp and time EVERY SINGLE time. My house smells like chemicals and cooking after using it so I would not call this smokeless. It's also terribly small. I've been using a Ninja Foodie Smart XL Air Oven and it's SO much easier to use but a huge pain to clean. As of right now I prefer my ninja because of its multiple racks, ease of use and size. It remembers my previous preferences which is so nice and it doesn't shut off all of the time. Will prob return the Tastee. Update: Tastee reached out with an offer for a refund and a recommendation to remove and flip items before the end of the cooking cycle. That would work BUT it relies upon me to remember to flip things which isn't going to happen because I'm a busy mom with little kids. So things getting overcooked on one side is a guarantee for me. I did try cooking pork chops in it and the thermometer was super helpful for that. I tried a Costco sized ribeye steak with the thermometer and really didn't care for it BUT I like a really crispy steak and gag of it's too rare. Idk why. I think it's a texture issue for me and the Tastee just doesn't crisp them up enough. It will make a thin chuck steak crispy but that's about it. I still prefer my Ninja overall. It also has a thermometer BUT some things don't come out as crispy as they do with the Tastee and the Tastee basket etc are easier to clean. Second update: their customer service reached out after my update and said their machine gives you the option to the flip the food during cooking. It only does this IF you use a preset cooking program with the thermometer. Custom items (which is what I primarily use it for) do not have this option.

Great air fryer!
This Tastee air fryer is so handy! I follow a largely meat-based diet. I use it mainly to cook chicken wings (20 minutes), although I have done hamburgers. I don't prefer it for hamburgers because I like to have more control over the done-ness. This fryer has many settings and incremental control of the time and temperature of the process. You can pull out the drawer mid-cook to turn things over or move them around. I love that I don't have to use my big oven for small batches, and it doesn't heat up my kitchen. It is very easy to clean, completely non-stick. I have put the drawer and the bottom drip-tray through the dishwasher successfully, although I don't make a habit of it. It is so easy to wipe out and wipe with a sponge that I generally do it by hand. It holds about 15 wings. I did 4 large burger patties. I generally just do a single layer. If you load it with veggies or french fries it would hold enough for a family of 4 or 5. It also comes with a dehydrating tray. I have not used that feature, but I might make some jerky and see how it turns out. It does not get hot on the outside and seems pretty sturdy. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase.
