UPERFECT Laptop Screen Extender, 2K 14" 360° Unique Swivel Hinge

First off, my use case is office apps, web browsing, video playback and image editing. Pairs with my Asus ZenBook 14", perfectly. Not a gamer - can't speak to that, although the monitor specs should support satisfactory gaming performance, depending on the specs of the graphics card driving them. The panels: very bright, crisp, clear, ISP images with wide field of view - perfect when you need to share viewing of data with others, as in meetings, team-reviews; presentations. On-screen adjustment menus are intuitive, easy to navigate. Swivel/pivot design where screens mount to laptop screen chassis are ingenious: with a quick rotation of panel, you can share one or both screens with people sitting opposite you and the image automatically adjusts upright for the viewer, based on screen orientation. Ideal for presenters/teams. The range of physical adjustability of the individual panels is more than adequate. Versatile setups: the panels securely attach to the center screen mount, for a 3-screen landscape setup, or, can be detached from the laptop screen mount (one, or both), using the built-in panel mount tabs as adjustable stands, for portrait-mode use of one, or both panels, alongside your laptop. The product design, operation and feel is of quality, in my short few weeks of use. Plenty of ports, including 2 USB-C's and one Mini-HDMI per panel. All cables needed are provided, for whatever your laptop setup requires - a nice touch. The panel housings are a nice balance between thin and sufficiently sturdy. UPerfect's clear goal was to create an efficient form factor, for a clean look and portability. As relates to port location and plug/cable interface, the only thing I wouId wish for is either inclusion of a compatible U-shaped Mini-HDMI adapter to orient the plug/cord connection around the backside of the panel, rather than having the straight plug sticking out from the side of the bezel. This would both reduce chance of accidental damage to the screens' ports, as well as improve cable routing and aesthetics. I bought pairs of C-port "U" adapters and Mini-HDMI "U" adapters from other sellers, but only the USB-C adapters functioned. The (third party) Mini-HDMI "U" adapters I tried out caused disconnect/reconnect issues with both screens, so were returned - No fault of UPerfect at all. The UPerfect monitors function "perfectly!" using their provided cables. I still intend to purchase a compatible pair of Mini-HDMI "U" adapters to complete my setup. Going from a 1-screen to 3-screen setup for (my) 1st time has been a total game changer. If you're looking for a clean, functional 3-screen setup for a small-to-medium laptop, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this choice. Productivity enhanced, 3x the viewable data. Time is always the test - but so far, so good. I have found this screen extender to be a good value for the build quality, features and performance. UPerfect Support has been fantastic for me, answering questions promptly and providing remarkably great after-sale support. I was not compensated for this review - this is my honest feedback, as a user of the product. (UPerfect Screen image[s] are SUBSTANTIALLY better looking in person than attached photo - darker corners of desktop image are part of the image data captured via camera phone, run through WhatsApp compression for upload - not a studio-level photo. Not an indicator of these UPerfect screens' visual quality, which is excellent - better than my laptop's screen image).

Very impressive screen quality, zero lag. Does NOT require display link software (and the related CPU work). I transitioned from the newest Mobile Pixels Duex Plus DS 13.3" (I was a Kickstarter of their original), which should have been great (was also a generation that didn't require DisplayLink), but it had multiple problems. In contrast, this screen is much better: * edge of screen not obscured like MP's screen; in fact, you can have the monitor hang off the left or right side of the (whereas the MP screen would need to be offset to one side or the other to not be obstructed by the laptop screen--which they didn't tell you in instructions or on template!) * uses a mechanical mount (no adhesives/magnet like on MP) * can be flipped around to use as presentation while connected to the laptop (newest MP no longer did that!) * really solid and adjustable positioning in freestanding portrait mode * automatically detects flipping from one landscape orientation to another (The MP one did not do that despite it being advertised!). Another cool thing I recently figured out recently: you can get both power and video signal to your laptop with just one cable!: if you plug USB power into the monitor, the USB cable that runs from the monitor to your phone carries both video signal and power! Things that could be improved: * The cable should have a right angle on one side much better for a cable not to be sticking way out! [I actually use the cable from my MP's Kickstarter...but WARNING: not any USB cable will work with this kind of monitor! It has to carry sufficient video signal (see their docs).] * Ideally include some kind of spacer for thin screens? The lip of the mount is a bit deep if you have a thin screen (for example, MacBook Air): it works, but the mount will ride up a bit if your leg hits it when moving a certain while sitting with legs crossed on a sofa. * Add some labels on the swiveling tab that attaches to the monitor bracket (eg, "THIS SIDE FACES COMPUTER"). It can seem that the tab won't "click in" to the bracket, but that's only if the hinge is facing the laptop (it needs to face away from the laptop). * Although the kickstand is good and has a clever retraction mechanism, it would be better if it were inverted 180 degrees. this is because there would be more support for the monitor if the top monitor bracket were below the monitor in freestanding landscape mode. * You still need to use display settings to rotate it to portrait mode Overall quite happy with this screen: quality, price, versatility. Surprised that it beat the veterans in the space. Thanks UGREEN!

If you just want a 4K60 fps display that is bright enough for certain games on Windows while you crave portability, this is probably what you are after. It generally looks good and the functionality is there, it is sufficient and it just works. I would have no complaint except certain problems in connection below: Issues on Windows A. Sometimes it reconnects for no apparent reason - I figured that it has something to do with the USB-C power ports and it is stabler on the second port on my unit, the one on the right, below the 3.5mm audio output port. B. While I have no issue connecting it to my Mac where both Type-C ports work wondrously, on my gaming desktop at home the connection could be quite a problem. It worked for a few moments with just the USB-C cable (4K60fps), but then it started flickering and stopped displaying anything when I powered my PC up some time later. I resorted to HDMI connection + USB-C for power afterwards and there is no problem ever since. The issue with my Mac: If you are looking to use it at work as a secondary output and you're with a Mac, this would not be the best option due to an issue with MacOS. Sure, it's displaying in 4K and the looks are great. It's bright enough if I tune the brightness to 90/100 and it supports High Dynamic Range theoretically - the colors suely looks great with it, too. What makes it borderline unusable on Mac is totally an issue on Apple's end, where they are not supporting HiDPI by default on this monitor - it could be exclusive to certain monitor models which have been designed in collaboration with Apple in the first-place. I am still figuring out a solution to it and hopefully I could turn it to my best companion for both work and entertainment.

The matte finish on the screen is exactly what it described in the listing. If not better! It has no glare! I love this monitor! I have so many great things to say. Ill be brief: It works extremly well with Samsung Dex (Without having to be plugged in into a outlet, just the USB-C 4k cord - Samsung galaxy S24 Ultra user It works flawlessly with Mac, Windows and any PC computer as a 2nd monitor The HDMI cord is a standard HDMI plug in. Which I prefer. The picture quality is amazing! Compared to my 32' 4k monitor. I prefer this 15.6 monitor. I love how there are options for HDR, FreeSync, Bluelight filter, and can control how blacks show on the screen. This monitor has blown me away and is better then I had thought. The ease of use and connectivity was really easy! It was honestly a no brainer due to the auto detect feature for what is plugged in. The controls were super simple to figure out. All you need to do is read the instructions and it is very straight forward. It also has a micro usb if you need that option. Also it is very lightweight. I love this protect! Great job!

Finally! After months of trying to make my old 12.9” iPad Pro consistently work as an Extended Display using Apple’s Sidecar feature, that is built into MacOS, I finally have a dependable and just as portable solution. Not only does it wake up from sleep as fast as my MacBook Pro, but while I have used other UPERFECT monitors before, I have never been able to configure one to be quite as good of a color match to either my MacBook Pro 16” M4 Max or my LG UltraFine 27” connected to a Mac Studio (a display that was widely believed to be the one Apple used for the 5k iMacs until they were discontinued). After some tinkering, I’m really pleased with this configuration. Albeit one that may seem unusual at first, since I have it mounted to the wall above my desk's primary display. This way I can use the 15.6" UPERFECT screen as a quick reference point for documents I need to keep open, a way to keep an eye on my email inbox, or else for some video content on YouTube that I can half-watch while I’m working. Thankfully it’s only suspended via a simple clamp, so I can just as easily remove the portable display, attach it to the included magnetic Smart Case (which folds itself into two viewing angles, which is much appreciated) and either toss it into my bag or pack it away for an extended trip away from home. You’ll likely appreciate that this particular unit features a full size HDMI port, which is much more widely used than mini-HDMI. So, chances are someone will already have a cable on hand that you can use, if you happen to forget yours for whatever reason. In a unique design detail, as you may have already noticed, the ‘hole punch’ design in the bottom-left corner of the unit allows for a deceptively clever way to simply stick a pencil or a pen through, in order to stand the display up in either a horizontal or vertical configuration. Once I did my testing in various configurations of which ports to use with my two Mac computers and tweaked the display’s built-in settings within the OSD menu, which definitely takes some getting used to (but that might just be me, when I would accidentally hit the wrong button sometimes!) I came to the conclusion that it yields by far the most visually impressive results when you connect it via USB C and then use the other USB C port to connect it directly to power. Doing so with the included 30 watt power delivery power adapter works (or any other PD power adapter able to provide the display with an additional 30 watts of power). This yields a much higher level of brightness, it was staggering. Furthermore, I tweaked many picture and color settings, which you can view in the photos I’ve uploaded from the OSD menus, once I carefully compared a series of photographs against one another, in order to get them to match as closely as possible (going from my two Mac setups versus this portable UPERFECT display). With these settings in place, I can confidently say that I am extremely impressed with the value you’re getting at the current price Amazon is listing it for. The picture quality's accuracy was much closer than I would have expected, especially for the cost of entry (plus, as I mentioned, I love that it turns on immediately when woken from sleep, just like an Apple display). If you’re on the fence, I would say go for it — I think you’ll be similarly pleased.

Easily a 5+star monitor. I am a frequent customer of UPERFECT, so I wanted to try their own in-house developed monitor panel. Since I needed a 1080p portable monitor for my setup, I decided to give this one a shot and was instantly blown away. I attached a video review which shows how great the monitor is. First thing is the competitive pricing, for a monitor that is less than $100, this one is the one to get. I currently have a 32inch 4k OLED monitor, so I needed something under 16in and 1080p (running a 4k monitor with anything above 1080p would drop my FPS). Since this one fits both of my needs, I decided to purchase it to use as a secondary monitor. The only other competition (asus + acer) are priced much more, for less than what this monitor can do. This one is $100 msrp and $78 on sale, which I think is 100% better than any of the competition. Second is the quality of their panel and picture quality. They really nailed their in-house developed panel which has: great color space (125%srgb), great viewing angles, zero eye fatigue (this is huge for me since I do game alot), low blue light levels with a natural filter, and an extremely effective light reflective panel. I've been using it without any calibration from my end, since it is perfect stock. Third is the ease of use, great connectivity options, and extremely light weight. For the ease of use, the monitor is "plug and play" meaning it comes with everything you need to start using it. It comes with all the wires you may need plus a charging brick (looking at you samsung, apple, google, etc), and each of the included wires are very high quality. Another great addition is that UPERFECT includes a standing case (almost like the apple folio case) with each of their monitors. This case is great since it doubles as a protector and as a stand. Incase you don't want to use the case, it does have VESA mounting options and a hole which could use a pen/pencil as a stand. This monitor also has great connectivity options, with 2 USB-C ports and a FULL SIZED hdmi port. The inclusion of a full size HDMI port brings a tear to my eye, since most portable monitors are stuck with the mini-hdmi standard (not as reliable and is more prone to breaking). The monitor also has great controlling buttons, which is much better than the rocker switch that most companies use for their monitor controllers. The buttons allow for better access, instead of fiddling with a rocker switch (which makes clicking in a nightmare). So having a button for each action is a HUGE selling point. Lastly, the monitor is very light weight, which promotes the portable aspect of the monitor greatly. It can easily be thrown in your bag with your laptop, switch, or steamdeck to have a big monitor on the go. I highly recommend this monitor and I hope the company makes more in-house panels in the future.

I use this monitor to give an extra screen for my mobile work setup. I am a graphic designer, and this monitor was the perfect size for giving me extra real estate for holding application palette windows, email, copy docs, etc. It has made working away from my primary desktop workstation really easy. Pros: - Super easy to connect. USB-C powers and provides data - Solid picture for the money. - Compact and light attachment didn't weigh down my laptop screen (PC) Cons: - I wish it would have come with a slip cover to protect the monitor in my laptop bag. The company does offer this if you email the support address in the included manual - It's quite a bit darker than my primary laptop screen, but this doesn't really matter if you're using it for second monitor things. I imagine you wouldn't notice the difference using it on its own. - It might be nice if the hinged piece attached to the monitor could be removed. It would easily fit into a tablet sleeve if that happened. Overall, this feels like a great deal on a monitor with solid performance. It's allowed me to get out of the office and have a more seamless experience.

I had a FHD portable monitor but decided to get a 4k display for the PS5. I have tried several 4k portable monitors that was more in the $200 range and all of them were poor quality and weren't worth the upgrade from FHD. I decided to bite the bullet and put in more money for this monitor since it had consistent and positive reviews. You could see right away that the screen was so much better and worth the price difference than my FHD monitor. It's not a matte screen. It's glossy and beautiful glass that makes the colors more vibrant and HD more visible. The brightness range is great even on a lower power wattage than the suggested 30W. What I really liked about this monitor compared to other 4ks is that it doesn't automatically rotate the screen when moved around. I sometimes like laying on my side while using this monitor and the gravity orientation would mess this up, so that's a plus for this. Also, the speakers are on the side instead of the back so you get better sound than others. The sound of course is not amazing, but portable monitors aren't meant for amazing sound quality. The menu and buttons here are easier to navigate than monitors with the cheap scroll wheel on the side. The build quality feels great. It's lightweight but sturdy enough for my use. It'll be on a vesa mount so the weak magnetic folio case does not bother me. Everything was going great, but suddenly the screen just stopped working. It was my extended display on my pc when I noticed the windows I had on the monitor weren't showing up. I tested different cables, power cables, and other inputs but unfortunately it was just the screen that wasn't working. The sound goes through and my pc detects the monitor being plugged in but the screen doesn't even have a back light. Thank goodness it's still within the return window. I just ordered a replacement and hopefully that one will last. But now I'm wary if it'll last more than 3 weeks and if the return window will still be open.

Deuxième écran acquis et quel bonheur dès l'unboxing : l'écran se trouve dans un écrin ultra protégé, aucun risque de casse à la livraison. La connectique mise à disposition est juste exceptionnelle, complète...prête à une installation et utilisation immédiate. La finesse de l'écran et la qualité de finition en font un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Aucune mauvaise surprise. Luminosité au top avec écran mat empêchant les reflets indésirables. Les ports sont complets et nécessite d'être branchés avec précaution. La fixation VESA permet une installation sur support (attention non compatible pour mettre un miniPC à l'arrière, car bute contre le bras de fixation)...à moins de fixer le support VESA sur les 2 seules vis du haut. Et pour finir, une qualité d'écran 2K IPS au top. Je recommande à 100% pour le télétravail par exemple.

Im Herzen bin ich ein Gamer! Leider wohnen wir ein wenig beengt. Somit habe ich leider keine Platz, mein Gaming-Equipment irgendwo stationär einzurichten. Also bin ich auf Hardware angewiesen, die schnell auf- und wieder abgebaut ist. Portable Monitore verwende ich schon seit Jahren. Man kann sagen, dass ich mich mit den Geräten ganz gut auskenne. Viele billige portablen Monitore haben eine fahle Farbwiedergabe oder eine niedrige Auflösung und ein "matschiges" Bild. Um so mehr war ich auf meinen neuen Monitor gespannt, was er so leistet. Um Spiele so richtig genießen zu können habe ich mich für den großen UPERFECT mit 22 Zoll Monitor und 2K Auflösung entschieden. Mehr Auflösung würde bei mir wenig bringen, da mein Mini Gaming PC einfach nicht die Leistung bringt. Mein bisheriger 18 Zoll Monitor von einer anderen Firma ist schwer, hat einen instabilen Hüllen-Ständer und benötigt zum Betrieb ein weiteres USB-C Kabel zur Stromversorgung. Die Farben sind OK - mehr aber auch nicht und die Auflösung nur Full-HD. Als ich den neuen UPERFECT Monitor ausgepackt habe, war ich voller Vorfreude und diese habe ich in dem Unboxing-Video (siehe in der Rezension) ein wenig festgehalten. Ich wurde NICHT enttäuscht. Das Gerät ist der HAMMER! Der portable Monitor ist relativ leicht im Vergleich. Er hat einen stabilen ausklappbaren Ständer auf der Rückseite, der vom Neigungswinkel einstellbar ist. Die Anschlüsse für USB-C (2x) und Mini HDMI sind auf der linken Seite. Die Bedienelemente für das Bildschirmmenü sind auf der rechten Seite. Angeschlossen habe ich den Monitor mit einem 2 Meter USB-C Kabel. Tatsächlich war nicht mehr notwendig - das Gerät wird vollständig von meinem Mini Gaming PC mit Bild UND Strom versorgt. Dann habe ich mir im Netz ein paar Hochauflösende Videos angesehen und war schlichtweg begeistert! Da kann ich nur sagen: WOW! Die Videos wurden so detailgetreu und farbenfroh auf dem Monitor wiedergegeben, dass sie fast dreidimensional wirkten. Eine Augenweide! Auch meine Spiele auf dem PC machen nun erheblich mehr Spaß! Fairnesshalber muss erwähnt werden, dass mein Mini Gaming PC den Monitor nicht bei aufwändigen Spielen kontinuierlich mit Strom versorgen kann. Scheinbar benötigt dann die CPU und GPU mehr Power, die dann nicht mehr für den USB-C Port zur Verfügung steht. UPERFECT empfiehlt jedoch auch eine externe Stromversorgung über USB-C zu verwenden. Lobendwert zu erwähnen ist die Verpackung des Monitors, die sehr umweltfreundlich vorwiegend aus Karton besteht. Davon abgesehen werde ich die Verpackung jedoch nicht entsorgen, weil sie die perfekte Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit für den portablem Monitor bietet. Fazit: Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt bei diesem UPERFECT Monitor voll und ganz. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen!

Llevo varios días utilizando este monitor portátil de 16" de UPERFECT como segunda pantalla para el portátil. Lo primero que sorprende es la definición: el panel 4K se ve muy nítido, con texto limpio y suficiente espacio de trabajo para hojas de cálculo, edición ligera y multitarea. El contraste anunciado de 2000:1 y la compatibilidad HDR aportan muy buena calidad a las imágenes y colores vivos sin irse de tonos. El segundo punto fuerte es el brillo. Los 1200 nits declarados se notan: en interiores luminosos o cerca de una ventana sigue siendo perfectamente usable, algo raro en monitores portátiles. Para quien trabaje en movilidad o use salas con luz abundante, marca la diferencia. En portabilidad, el conjunto está muy bien resuelto. La funda‐soporte incluida es estable y protege bien en la mochila; el grosor y el peso permiten llevarlo con el portátil sin que se dispare el peso o sea un conjunto demasiado tocho. La conectividad es sencilla: USB-C para vídeo y alimentación en un solo cable cuando el equipo lo soporta, y HDMI como alternativa universal. Como puntos a considerar: para aprovechar al máximo la resolución, conviene ajustar el escalado del sistema (sobre todo en Windows) y usar un cargador USB-C decente si quiere alimentar todo por un único cable, pero vamos, otro punto fuerte es que te viene ya con 3 cables incluidos para sacarle el máximo provecho, así como un adaptador de corriente, por lo que en este producto sí que está todo para poder empezar a utilizarlo nada más sacarlo de la caja. Por lo demás, instalación literalmente plug&play y sin sorpresas. En conjunto, un monitor portátil muy completo: 4K nítido, brillo alto de verdad, respeta los colores para edición de fotos y vídeo, opciones USB-C/HDMI y VESA, con una funda práctica. Si busca una segunda pantalla versátil para trabajo y ocio, me parece una compra redonda por su relación calidad-precio.

I am very happy with this portable monitor, especially when working outside. My ASUS laptop has a beautiful 17 inch OLED display, which looks amazing indoors. However, outside in the garden or in direct sunlight, the reflections make it extremely difficult to see anything, especially when using applications in Dark Mode. This UPERFECT monitor performs much better outdoors. The 1200 nits brightness makes a huge difference, and the matte screen produces far fewer reflections. It gets incredibly bright and remains clearly visible, even when working outside during the day. In the photo, you can see my laptop underneath the portable monitor. I had to switch the application on my laptop from Dark Mode to Light Mode because the laptop screen was almost impossible to read outside. On the UPERFECT monitor above it, I could continue using Dark Mode without any issues. That comparison really shows how much better this monitor performs in bright conditions. The colours are not at the same level as an OLED display, and it does not have a very high refresh rate. However, for a portable monitor, I think it is excellent. It is especially useful for working in the garden, while travelling, or anywhere with a lot of daylight. I also had a very positive experience with the customer service. Mia responded quickly, helped me with my invoice. Her communication was friendly, clear and helpful throughout the entire process.
