Would these be suitable?** A: That's exactly what I use them for, but they can become uncomfortable after long periods of time. They're a little heavy, and they squeeze your head to stay on. You may be happier with a lighter model with a headband instead of the tensioned metal band. They don't block out all sound, they just greatly muffle it. You can also wear earbud style headphones under these to play music if you need total sound isolation. **Q: Can I wear ear buds under them** A: There is space, but not sure how much. I wear the headset when mowing. They keep the sound down, but you might have to have the earbuds pretty loud anyway which might not be so good for your hearing **Q: How do I attached the head strap included?** A: I ATTACH THE STRAP BEHIND MY HEAD, I HOPE THAT HELPS. **Q: Can these be returned if fit is unsatisfactory?** A: Depends on the seller ## Frequently Bought Together - 3M - H7B Peltor Optime 101 Behind-the-Head Earmuff, Hearing Protection, Ear Protectors, NRR 26 dB Green - 3M PELTOR Hearing Protection Optime 95 Earmuffs, Adjustable Earcups, E-A-Rfit Compatible, Stainless Steel - 3M Peltor Optime 105 Behind-the-Head Earmuff, Factory, One Size --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/6336385-h7b-peltor-optime-101-behind-the-head-earmuff-hearing-protection](https://www.desertcart.is/products/6336385-h7b-peltor-optime-101-behind-the-head-earmuff-hearing-protection) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
