Why did I wait so long!?!? Works perfect with my Firestick 4k MAX for a wired connection to my network. My wifi (TPLINK Deco BE63 mesh) system is pretty dialed in, strong wifi6 6ghz signal with low noise. Due to the firesticks "weak" wifi antenna, I have a wifi node nearby which has worked well. Then one day I though, you know, the firestick doesn't have to be plugged directly into the TV. So, with the help of a female-to-female HDMI adapter < $10 for two, and a 6ft HDMI cable, I relocated the firestick to a an easy place I could get a network cable, power, and this adapter for a wired connection. The experience is for sure snappier and even quicker to start shows and apps, especially fast forwarding through episodes. I highly recommend this if you're considering it. Wifi has come a long way, but there's still nothing better than a wired connection. If you can make it work, it's totally worth it. Few more considerations, the 'ethernet' port will connect to your network up to 1000 Mbps if your network gear supports it. Actual throughput will be limited by the amazon firestick's CPU, which in my experience is about 375 Mbps. I was getting this over wifi already, however, wired is still a more stable connection with lower latency (ping) response times. Also, make sure you're using an adapter that has enough power. I'm using a USB-A 2A 10W power adapter.

It works great.

First one Did not connect. I had power connected to device and network cable connected to device. I connected this to firestick 4k then to HDMI port. Device Not recognized by firestick or network. Power was passed through with no issues to firestick. Firestick connected to WiFi network with no issues. I returned this device for a replacement. I will update review after trying replacement. Replacement had same issue. will not connect. Fire stick 4k did not recognize network. stayed on wireless. returning. I suspect the micro usb plug connecting to the firestick is the issue with this one. I replaced this device with a "Cable Matters Micro USB to Ethernet Adapter Up to 480Mbps, Fire Stick Ethernet Adapter, Compatible with Fire TV Stick" I purchase on Amazon for $19.99. connected and now getting 168Mbps - 234 mbps from my router lan port.

Works great. I am getting between 310 & 320 Mbps download on my 1 Gbps connection. It varies from test to test. That was what I was expecting. The adapter is limited by the max speed of the USB 2 ports on the Fire Stick and that's as good as it gets until Amazon upgrades newer generations of Fire Sticks with USB 3. At the time of writing this review the current generation of Fire Sticks still use USB 2. I saw some people complaining that it doesn't work at all. I may have gotten lucky but I suspect maybe some of them are not using a quality USB power adapter to power the adapter and the Fire Stick. I am not using the USB power adapter supplied with the Fire Stick as I saw others complaining about it when I purchased it.

Bought to make Firestick connected direct to internet

I was perfectly delighted yesterday when it arrived and I hooked it up and worked just fine with a 27w power supply. However it has ceased to work today it would not connect. And I tried everything, it wasn't recognized by Advanced IP Scanner and I rebooted modem and router many times and it never showed up and doesn't work at all. Read the reviews.

Gets my download speed on fire stick at nearly 300mbps. Swapped from official Amazon product which never went over 100mbps.

Je viens de le connecter derrière ma FIRE TV 4k Max, elle-même reliée par câble RJ 45 à un port de ma FREEBOX. Super, comme j'ai fait installer la fibre dans mon logement je bénéficie des vitesses montantes et descendantes (320/250) au niveau du Speed Test Télé. Les Images sont de meilleures qualités.

Tengo el firestick 4k max segunda generación de 2023 con el sistema os 8.0 la más actualizada Si lo reconoció al principio pero solo marcaba 99 megas de velocidad por cable lam ethernet así que cambie el cable por un cat6 rj45 y cambie el cubo cargador por un cubo Samsung viejo de 9V 2.A ya que descubri que el cargador cubo de la firestick se sobre calentaba y ardía por alguna razón me imagino falta de potencia y se hizo la magia yo tengo una velocidad en México de Totalplay de 300 megas y un poco más pero es lo que tengo contratado y me da en muchas pruebas dentro de la firestick como se ve en la foto 328mbps súper bien antes solo daba 98mbps y haciendo pruebas en una aplicación de internet en la firestick de Speedtest me da de bajada 167mbps y de subida 250mbps o más que eso de subida entonces esto para ni es un gran cambio ví que en el mismo adaptador marca electop habían hecho esto cambiar el cable por uno nuevo cat6 o cat7 y poner otro cubo cargador más potente de 9v 2A y esto soluciona el sobrecalentamiento del cubo cargador por alguna razón extraña tengo 2 cables iguales de ethernet y uno no sirvió solo daba 98mbps y el cable nuevo que coloque si me dió los 328mbps
