Eliminated the sewer gas smell in less than a day
I had a vent pipe that would occasionally let out a foul sewer gas smell. I installed this FloPlast push-fit air admittance valve, and within 24 hours the odour was completely gone. The toilets still flush perfectly, and best of all – no more smells in the house. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with the same issue.

Easy to fit and works well
My old air admittance valve was faulty - made this diagnosis as sewer smells were being sucked up into the bathroom when flushing toilets etc. Typical symptoms of the AAV not working and air being sucked up to relieve the vacuum in the soil pipe. Fitted the new one in 5 minutes and the problem of sewer smells is gone

Air out NOT in
This item is great but works the wrong way around it allows air out but doesn’t stop the drain suction which is what I needed I need a valve that allows air in and doesn’t allow air out !!!!!
