Il Salone Milano Professional Glorious Mask - Hydrating Hair Mask for Dry Hair - Increases Nourishment & Combability with Chestnut Extract & Rice Extract - Salon-Quality Hair Care

My previous unscented "hydrating" shampoo and conditioner destroyed my hair! I stumbled upon this brand (Il Salone Milano) and decided to take a chance on it, despite the fact that most of the reviews were Vine reviews on free products. I paid for all of these, I swear! Within a week, I ended up ordering almost the entire line of shampoos, conditioners, masks, and the rebuilder keratin oil. The products were so reasonably priced--and I was so desperate for a solution--that I ordered ELEVEN products. I'm 70 years old and never had a problem with frizzy hair until recently. I've been taking vitamins for "hair, skin & nails" but I had no idea that the "hydrating" shampoo and conditioner I used for several months was the problem. The products aren't actually unscented as some are labeled, but I found that the scent is tolerable and wears off quickly. And it didn't make me sneeze or itch or give me a stuffy nose. It may sound crazy, but my hair improved with the very first use. I also did a deep conditioning mask. A real scientist would try out new products one at a time, but my hair was such a mess that I didn't want to wait. (I didn't notice before I ordered, but Il Salone has a product page that lets you "SHOP BY LINE" which is supposed to let you choose which problems/issues you have with your hair, but the links within that page seem to be broken. If I had noticed this page sooner--and the links were working--it might have stopped me from over-shopping, but I'm genuinely happy with having the whole collection.) Also, because I have so many of the issues, it would have been hard to refine my list. My hair issues include dry, color processed, dull, damaged, etc. Pros: My hair felt smoother, silkier right away. And, aside from the After less than a week, I'm just so happy. The scent is pleasant but not strong or long-lasting. (That's a huge plus for me because I have so many sensitivities to perfumed products.) With the exception of the keratin hair oil, all of the products rinse out easily. My hair wasn't weighed down by product at all. Compared to other products that claim to offer the same benefits, the Il Salone products are VERY reasonably priced. That's why I ordered pretty much the full line as soon as I tried and liked the Keratin shampoo and conditioner. (Life's short. I didn't want to do research. I just wanted my smooth, shiny hair back!) Cons: There are so many different products in the line that I honestly felt I couldn't differentiate between Glorious, Mythic, etc. That's why I bought so many. (I have plenty of friends who are happy to take my cast-offs!) The variety isn't really a "con" just a possible problem if you can't afford to experiment. I think I'll be using all of them. Is it a "con" that the products are made in Italy and I'm afraid they will become unavailable or much pricier because of our economic instability these days? It will take a long time for my damaged , broken, shoulder-length hair to recover, but I'm confident that the Il Salone products will be the solution.

Es buenísima, tuve que cortar mi cabello muy corto luego de teñir de un tono claro sobre negro y volver a poner negro, este producto hace que parezca que nada paso . Además por un buen precio, comparado con repolarizadores y mascarillas que use y no hicieron nada, en la primera lavada sientes la diferencia.

Due to aging, my once soft, manageable hair has become course and tangled. For the past year, I have been looking for a hair mask/deep conditioner to help soften my hair. I have tried so many products with so many different ingredients - which either worked, but weighed my hair down, or didn’t work at all. I chose the Il Salone Milano Professional Glorious Mask for the Chestnut Extract and Rice Water. And I will say, I am very impressed! My hair felt soft and was manageable when using the blow dryer. It did not feel weighed down and my hair kept its style all day long. The mask has a great scent. It is light enough (meaning not heavy or greasy) that it could be used multiple times a week. Great different ingredient - I recommend!

I have thin, fine, dry, frizzy curly hair. I need to do masks once to twice a week. I also wash my hair everyday so I need lots of moisture. I was excited to try this since I never heard of this brand and just like most other masks, you use it after you wash your hair. I left it on my hair for just over 5 mins and I rinsed my hair really well. My hair was well conditioned and was not frizzy. Right away I knew I wouldn't need a lot of products to style my hair and to tame my frizzy curls. This is a huge plus for me. For less than $10, I am really enjoying this mask. As far as the scent, it's a basic nice shampoo/conditioner type of scent. If you have dry hair, you will enjoy this mask.

I use this mask only once a week in addition to the shampoo and conditioner from this brand that I use regularly. I like how this mask works on my black colored hair. I apply this mask from the middle to the ends of my hair, the only part that needs extra moisturizing. I blow dry my hair regularly so the ends are really damaged. I don't apply it on my whole hair as I have oily scalp and I don't need extra moisturizing near the scalp. I love the scent as well. I used very little of this mask and it will last about 4 months for my long hair.

Great hair mask with a sweet and fruity scent. The consistency is nice and the smell is lighter after applied. This is a moisturizing and easy-to-use product that works as expected. For reference, I have long, straight, thin hair, and my hair felt soft and healthy after use but not as shiny as it could be. Despite that, this is a good-quality product at an affordable price ($9.90 at the time).
