Neat and efficient
Having used this for several days and nights, I’m quite happy with it. It’s efficient at drawing moisture. Yes, the tank is small, but it’s not a hassle to empty it once or twice a day. It does have the hose for continuous draining. I use this in the bedrooms as I have a larger Meaco for the laundry downstairs. It’s neat and tidy and wheels around quite easily.

Great for drying laundry
I'm really pleased with this. We were looking for something to help dry clothes in winter months, and this is working exactly as we'd hoped. We put it in a small room with the doors and windows closed, set it to target 35% humidity and within about 5 or 6 hours it's dry and for far less cost than running a tumble drier. The unit itself is compact and about as loud as a pedestal fan. I would prefer a larger water tank, but this one manages with one empty per washing load (our washer is 8kg). We don't use it as an air filter or for general dehumidification, I'm not sure how well ithe small water collection tank would do if you're looking to use it for a flat or small house (it's probably underpowered for much more than that). It would probably need regular emptying. Although it's auto shut off when full and inoffensive alarm means this probably wouldn't be too much of an issue. Bottom line? Good value for money, study compact build quality and works great for laundry.

“Game-Changer for Humid Rooms”
Bought this unit for a small recording studio that is located outside in my garage. For the last two years the room had begun to smell with damp and excess humidity to the point where some electrics in the room started to fail. I’ve had this unit on every single day for a week and the humidity levels have dropped from 80+ to sitting just above 50%. Room feels and smells cleaner. Delighted with the results and can safely say the unit is worth every penny. Unit emits a very low fan noise which is ideal for the purpose of my room. Recorded vocals the other day with unit on and there was no leakage of sound into in-room mics. Great little unit if you don’t want something hardwired into the room and want to have something portable. Yesterday I brought it into my kitchen to dry a small load of washing which was hanging over chairs etc and clothes were dry very quickly. Highly recommend this unit for anyone looking for a damp and humidity problem.

In this case size really doesn’t matter
This review is for the 12L per day unit. This dehumidifier is small about the size of a small side table/the size of a medium shredder (a little shorter than the arm of my sofa) but it seriously packs a punch. Within 30 minutes the living room humidity had dropped from 72% to 65% (with outdoor humidity at 89%) and the windows open. The unit is fairly heavy (for me, a 5ft 3 woman, who loathes the gym 😱), but I did manage to lift it out of the box (you could always cut the cardboard box down the side and wheel the unit out of it). After two weeks of use I have found a couple of design flaws, which I’ve reluctantly deducted a star for. 1. HEPA filter - Despite the description this does not have a HEPA filter. Now I’m going to search for a HEPA filter that will fit the unit (it should have been sold with one - the description said it was - or at least provide a link to buy the filter separately). 2. Room temperature - If the room temperature is below 20oc (and sometimes at 21oc) the unit freezes and cuts out (presumably to give it time to defrost). 3. Emptying water tank - Like other reviewers I agree there is a knack to re-inserting the water tank. You have to angle it slightly forward and down (once you’ve done it a couple of times it’s easy). It also does continue to drip when the tank is out/being emptied (I put a folded piece of kitchen towel there to absorb the water while I empty the tank. It’s also a good idea to put the unit on a hard surface, rather than a carpeted one, so that any splashes that occur while the tank is out can be easily dried). 4. This costs approximately (£0.05) 5p an hour to run (according to my smart meter on a British Gas standard tariff at November 2024). In summary this is one of the best things I’ve bought. Small/easy to store, an impressive performance and sold at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Top clothes dryer
They say £0.05 per hr to run and they are right works a dream, our box room is now our drying room and this dehumidifier works an absolutely amazing, gets the moisture out of the clothes , the room is like an oven when you walk in, saving a fortune by sacking off the dryer in the garage.easy to move round and light weight, very compact and simple to use also. So 10/10 from me.
