Worth every penny. very sturdy. I had my local carpenter install the bar to meet ADA Standards. What I find so great is it folds up against the wall. So when I am out of the cast and no longer needed the bar I can just flip it up out of the way. But even if I always keep it down it looks great.

Fantastic idea. Wish I had installed it 20 years ago. Placed it between toilet and shower. Fold up when not needed. But put down for leaving the shower - just the right place for extra support exiting shower that I did not I needed. Installation is not for DIY. Get an expert.

I had one stud that I could get three of the six beefy #12 screws that came with into. But the due to the mounting plate design, three needed to go in drywall. The instructions tell you to use Toggler Snaptoggle anchors in drywall. I looked them over in Home Depot, and was not comfortable with them. But I took a liking to Cobra’s Walldriller Plus #12 anchors. (Can’t seem to find them on Amazon). I was pleasantly surprised at how strong they are, and made the install rock solid. Finish on this fixture is very good, and the materials have a sturdy feel. It is nice that it can be flipped up as my bathroom is small. I’m was finding as the years pass, I was having a harder time getting up off the can, so this helps significantly, and I know it will benefit others.

I recommend you order the one WITHOUT the TP holder (I had my contractor remove it, as it was awkward to use and got in the way of my hand when using the grab bar). The grab bar itself is great and works well.

Works great! I had to add blocking behind the sheet rock. My 95 year old add is MUCH safer now using these two rails vs a rickety toilet safety alternative...
