These work as described. My main situation is that they don’t stay cold enough for long enough (for my personal use). So they have advantages and having the wrap around the joint is helpful. Beyond that it’s depending on what and how you need to use the ice pack.

These get SO COLD. They’re nice as an ice pack as well because you don’t have to get a sleeve for it, you can put it on your skin as is.

This sleeve is so much better than traditional ice packs, I’ll never go back. No stiff straps, no dripping, no melting, no worries about it not conforming to your body. This slides on easily, fits snugly, makes full contact, delivers cooling to all parts of the joint, and feels very soothing on my aching knee. It’s pricy but worth it.

Works great for icing sore elbows and forearms from gardening. I’ve tried them for heat and they’re okay. They don’t retain heat as long as they do cold. It’s really easy to overheat them as well. I still love the product because I bought them to ice not heat. Heating was an added bonus but no necessary. If someone was primarily looking for heating, I’d choose something else.

This cold pack works great due to its flexibility & versatility. I can use this on my arm where I have tricep nerve pain or on my knee as it is supper stretchy. Take a bag of ice cubes and place it on the wrap for more mobilized care & more continuous cold compression because of the thickness it never gives the burning numbing effect as icing does.
