Bought this in because I was looking for a coffee maker with attached grinder. Coffee maker made good coffee and grinder worked great . Seven months after I bought this ,with daily use, it started leaking water from the bottom. I contacted the company as it was under warranty but didn't hold out much hope. I was pleasantly surprised by their quick response. After sending them a video of the problem they contacted me saying they would be replacing the unit. With in a short time I had my new coffee maker and am enjoying my morning coffee.

***UPDATE***: Wow what a disappointment this has been! Initially I really loved this coffee maker. That was until this morning when I went about making coffee the way that I always do. When I poured the water in the chamber, it all came out of the bottom of the machine. I've had this coffee maker for 3 months and 19 days. The Irony is that I bought it to replace another bran that had failed three times with different units, but all of them far exceeded the life span of this POS! I was hoping to submit a warranty claim, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. DON'T BUY FROM these people! They clearly are not interested in making a quality product nor standing behind it! *****End of Update**** I bought this to replace another brands offering that has failed me with two different units. There is so much to love about this one! As I have only had it a short time, I can't speak to the reliability, but I love the form, fit and function, for the most part. I quite like that it has more versatility than the product I was using. I was also impressed that their customer service department reached out to me to remind me to register it and to thank me for the purchase. Yeah, they were trying to sell an extended warranty, but it was still a very nice thing. My old grinder/maker, didn't have a hopper for beans and so I needed to add beans for each brew. This one has a nice hopper on top with a sealing lid! I LOVE this feature, but I would very much like it to be larger. They say it is to keep moisture from the cherries, but the way I store my coffee, it wouldn't matter. The only thing that I don't like is the decanter. In fact, I HATE it! The design makes it very hard to pour without spilling. This is particularly frustrating when filling it with water, as you really have to pour fast in order for the liquid to clear the lip. The best "work-around," is to pour quickly from a height. but that come with the risk of overfilling your coffee cup. If they would redesign the decanter and add capacity to the hopper this would be a perfect product. Still I gave them a 5, since this is so much better than what I had before.

My Krups grind and brew with large hopper broke after 12 years of use. Thinking I’d be getting an upgrade with the latest Krups model I was disappointed in the downgrade in quality of newer generations. Worse, like nearly all modern grind and brew coffee makers of any make, the hopper was limited to 1 pot worth of beans. And because the hopper is internal/under the lid, steam creates a mess of the coffee dust left behind in the hopper, requiring a daily ritual to clean and dry the hopper pieces. When this Krups model broke after only 1 year of use I set out to find a replacement that met all my needs. After searching Amazon and the internet at large, I could only find 3 brands that manufactured a grind and brew coffee maker with large hoppers. All but 1 were between $200 and $350 but with poor ratings and reviews. The Gavi grind and brew stood out as an affordable option that checked all the boxes. With no reviews to go on and a 4+ star rating, I gave this product a shot. Glad I did as this coffee maker has brewed very good coffee for over a month now. A big bonus vs. my old Krups machine: instead of using a large clockwork contraption over the basket that rotates from allowing coffee to flow in to closed position, this Gavi coffee maker uses a minimal open/close mechanism that has not clogged up once. This was a constant problem with the Krups machine requiring parts of it to be opened up for weekly clean out of built up coffee dust. This is a buy in my book.

Very happy with machine, functionality, taste of coffee. For the money, it’s great value and we love the automatic grinder. Unfortunately about 9 months in we had water leaking out of the tank, which appears to be a common issue and perhaps a design flaw on 2025 manufactured units. Cristina, our customer service rep, received and handled my request for a new unit in a very timely fashion. Customer service response was excellent and in less than 2 weeks I had a replacement at home and in use. This machine has its flaws, but the costumer service resolution made my experience so much better. 4/5 for Machine. 5/5 for Customer Service - recommend Cristina!

Great coffee maker! Excellent price for having a built in grinder that you can program. I had a problem with an internal gasket/seal that lead to leaking, but the customer support was extremely helpful and solved my problem in a timely fashion. Strongly recommend.
