I also struggle with specific breakage and split ends caused by wearing glasses and headphones all day. My hair was extremely frizzy and weak before using this. The Results (Strength vs. Shine): - Strength: This is where the product shines (pun intended). It completely changed the texture of my hair regarding strength. It helped significantly with the breakage from my headphones and glasses, and the frizz is under control. - Shine: To be honest, I didn't see a massive improvement in "shine" or hydration appearance; my hair still looks a bit matte/opaque. However, considering how damaged my hair was, I care more about it not breaking than it shining. It repaired the structure, even if it didn't add a glossy finish. The Products: - Shampoo (No. 4): It is very thick/heavy, which I expected. It yields an incredible amount—a little goes a long way. - Conditioner (No. 5): Works great, BUT the ratio is off. I find myself running out of conditioner way faster than the shampoo. I wish the conditioner bottle was slightly larger to match the shampoo's longevity. - Oil (No. 7): The scent is delicious and soft. It does a great job sealing my split ends. Verdict: If you need to save your hair from snapping off, buy this. It’s expensive, but the shampoo lasts forever and the strengthening results are 100% worth it.

Okay I always say nothing is really very good the purchases off of Amazon but when I tell you this combination is the truth, I’m a Black American with thick long hair and I’ve tried every hair product also purchased It’s a 10 miracle leave in product which helps with leave in conditioning, thermal protection and a few other things, anytime I’ve blown dry my hair it’s always dry until I put oil and heat on it, first time ever after using these products after blow drying my hair it was soft as I’ve never had this before using tons of different products, fist thought it was a little expensive for size it came in but you don’t need much. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase my hair is soft as silk and the shine is finally back, the oil I use is Chi which always softens my hair after applying heat to it, but this time it was soft after the blow drying this is my new go to!

Years ago, a stylist recommended an Olaplex product for my highlighted hair. It made my hair really dry and didn't seem to do much for my overall hair health. I was perplexed and disappointed because Olaplex was the all the rage. Fast forward to last week when I decided my hair was a mess and needed damage repair. I'm middle aged and my hair is very long and slightly wavy. I highlight once or twice a year. Decided to take a chance on this set after doing some research on the best products for my hair type. I first used the pre shampoo bonder followed by this set. Afterwards I applied the No 6 smoothing leaving in bonder. It took a couple of days for me to realize how great my hair looks and feels. It's very shiny, soft and manageable. I usually style my hair by air drying and then using a round dryer brush on it. Sometimes I hot roll or use my Beachwaver. After using this regimen, I did nothing but towel dry and my hair looks terrific. The shampoo has a rich creaminess to it and a little goes a long way. The conditioner is thick as well, but spreads easily form scalp to ends. I was concerned that such small bottles of product would disappear quickly, especially given my hair length. Washing twice a week I feel confident that this set should last me a full month. Small price to pay for such great hair. Happily surprised and looking forward to trying more Olaplex products. March 2026: I wanted to update my review. I can't believe how much better my hair health is since I've been using this group of products. I never do anything but use these products and towel dry and my hair looks terrific. I have a natural wave to my hair that is suddenly far more pronounced. My waves have turned into lovely little spirals, and my hair is the shiniest it's been since I was a child! My hair is also softer, and the texture is far less fragile. I'm 55 and my hair look better now than it did in my 20's!! I'm sticking with this routine. When your teenage son tells you how good your hair looks you know you're doing something right, lol.

The scent is pleasant and not too strong. However, the price is quite high for the amount, and the results are noticeable but not dramatic right away. Still a solid option for hair care and maintenance.

The best shampoo and conditioner I ever used . My hair feels amazing you only need a dime worth of each so it lasts long . Yes it’s pricy but do do with the money . I have it to my bestie as a gift and it has helped her dry hair as well . But it’s for all types . Treat yourself to the best esp if you spend money on your hair why not upkeep it . Makes sense .
