I love this supplement because it is affordable, clean and comes with so many supplements! It is easy to swallow because it is not that big either. I have definitely seen an improvement in my overall health.

Vit B is essential for staying calm and at 50mg, I is better and sufficient.

So this is a bit unusual, as I originally bought these B-complex capsules for use in homemade cat food, then used them myself. (I am a human, for context.)CAT REVIEW: The amount of B vitamins recommended in the cat food recipe was very small, only one capsule for each approximately 3 pounds of poultry. I chose this brand specifically because of the form the vitamins are in. They are a fine, yellow powder that is held together by two capsule halves, so the capsule is easy to break open and dissolve into a vitamin/fish oil/broth slurry to be mixed into the chicken. The powder has a starchy vegetable-like odor and taste that is noticeable, but not extremely strong until it's out of the capsule. My cats, unfortunately, would not touch the homemade food once the vitamin/fish oil slurry was mixed in with the chicken, and I wonder if it is because of the strong odor/smell of the B-vitamin powder. My advice if you are using this to make cat food would be to use only half a capsule per 3-4 lbs of meat or one capsule for every approximately 6 lbs of meat.HUMAN REVIEW: Having failed my cat food experiment and being too lazy to tear up another whole chicken to try again, I relegated the B-Vitamin Complex to my own medicine cabinet so it wouldn't go to waste. I took one capsule a day for about a week.Pros: It did actually give me a slight energy boost.Cons: I now have "why is my pee neon yellow" in my search history. I also had very slight stomach cramps that whole week.So at least that's a sign that these things are actually POTENT and contain real B vitamins. Maybe a little too potent. But seeing as this brand has proven themselves to carry the real deal and not just floor sweepings from the vitamin factory slapped into a capsule (I'm joking, I hope), I was actually inspired to make a purchase of Solgar's B6 (pyridoxine HCl) 100 mg. I don't really need the other B-vitamins in the complex, and clearly it was one of them that was the culprit for the bright yellow pee and stomach cramps since I haven't had that problem since I switched over.

I have been using Solgar vitamin products for years they are excellent, reputable, high standard, work well. Will buy again as normal for me.

**Good B vitamin formula without excessive B6**I find these to be good value and, importantly for me, they provide good levels of the B vitamins I want without an excessive amount of vitamin B6.One problem I’ve noticed with many B-complex supplements is that they contain extremely high amounts of B6. While vitamin B6 is essential, I prefer not to take unnecessarily high doses over the long term, particularly as I also get B6 naturally from my diet. Excessive B6 intake over time has been associated with nerve-related symptoms such as tingling, numbness and problems with coordination.**Pros*** **Good tablet size:** They are a comfortable size for me and easy to swallow.* **Good for energy:** B vitamins play an important role in normal energy metabolism, so I prefer taking them in the morning or around lunchtime.* **Supports normal brain function:** B vitamins are important for normal psychological and nervous system function.* **No unpleasant smell:** I noticed very little, if any, smell from these tablets.* **Sensible level of B6:** This is one of the main reasons I chose this formula. Some B-complex supplements contain several hundred percent of the daily reference value for B6, which I personally prefer to avoid for long-term use.**Cons*** **Not the cheapest**, although I’m happy to pay a little more for Solgar. It is a brand I recognise and trust, which gives me more confidence than some of the lesser-known manufacturers.**Overall**I like the combination of B vitamin levels and the more sensible amount of B6. For me, it offers a good balance between dosage, quality and price from a brand I trust.
