Is the pump 12Volts? If so, what kind of plug? Thank you

The pump that comes with this is too weak to flow properly through the motor. Buy a separate bilge pump to use with whatever plug you need. The RYDLYME does work incredibly well. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have bought the kit, just the RYDLYME

Will this clean a a heat exchanger for an marine inboard engined used in salt water?

Yes, that's what it's designed for. It only cleans the raw water side.
