I have the old model, but wanted one with a battery in case my cat unplugs it. This is incredible. A solid iteration on the one from several years ago. App is great. Water flow amount in fountain is ideal. Filters keep the water clean between fills. There is really not much to say other than PetLibro makes a great cat water fountain at a great price. The app is unobtrusive and is helpful. Build quality is nice. It is sleek and solid. This design is also easy to clean like the old one. Fit and finish is excellent, and it feels quality. This easily fits in your home as it's not an eyesore. The fountain also does not splash so you don't have to worry about that. My cat will sometimes splash some water, but she does that with any water dish.

Really nice upgrade to the original PETLIBRO Dockstream Smart Fountain. These products are the best water fountains I've tried for my cats, and I've tried MANY. They are the easiest to clean, easiest to set up, easiest to fill – they are just the best. And the 2 just makes the docking system more secure/less likely to get knocked over which is great. I love the app and how it notifies me when my cats are drinking water, and when the water needs to be filled. It's also very quiet. The only time I hear it is when it's low on water, which is also a good indicator to fill up. 10/10 product I love it and will continue to use PETLIBRO devices for my fur-babies.

After 30 years of living with cats, this is the best product I've ever bought for them. I've had this product for sux months now. My cats drink significantly more water because of it. It's easy to set up and clean. I wish I always had it. Extremely efffective, reliable, and convenient. The fountain is marvelous and inviting; even pleasant to listen to. No more worries about stressed kidneys. My three picky cats love it. No leaks, great battery life, durable, and very much wirth the money.

This is perfect. My puppy figured it out instantly. It draws them in with the fountain and water sound. It tells me when she drinks and when it needs to be charged and cleaned. Before this, I had felt bad that there were times my dog had gone to the water bowl and it was empty. Now I never have to worry about her not having water. I bought an another version of a water fountain from another company and put them side-by-side and my puppy preferred this. I preferred it too because the app was far superior.

Overall, this has given us so much more assurance that our cat is drinking water and helps us monitor her hydration habits. My only complaint, and reason for 4-stars is that it frequently has wifi connectivity issues, while our other petlibro dry food feeder has never disconnected. Now that we are used to being able to monitor the water level, it is very nerve wracking for the water fountain to lose connection if we are away.

Excellent so far! I do not have to wonder if the cats have water at 2am and go check their bowl! I can monitor how much they drink and how much is in the tank. Not noisy. Works great!

I’ve had this water fountain for three weeks, and so far, so good. I’m writing this review to help potential buyers understand how it works, since the product description isn’t very detailed: Two power modes: It comes with a cable, so you can either (a) keep it plugged in with a power adapter, or (b) charge it and use it wirelessly until the battery runs low. Wireless sensor feature: In wireless mode, the fountain dispenses water when it senses movement (cat or human; works fine and never failed any of us so far). The flow may last up to 90 seconds (adjustable in the app) before stopping. This works well in my multi-cat household, but here’s the funny part: my cats are absent-minded and nosy kids who often wander off to check out other things mid-drink (cat owners you know what I mean!). Sometimes the water stops right when they’re still drinking, then restarts when they walk away and trigger the sensor—leaving them looking back in confusion as if wondering, “Wait, what just happened?” lol App integration: The app is easy to set up and provides visit logs, water consumption data, and alerts for low water, low battery, or other issues (e.g., water tank separated from the base; time to clean and change filter). Cordless design: I especially like the built-in power propeller and cordless setup. My old fountain had external power cords that were messy and harder to clean around. Overall, this fountain is convenient, quiet, and easy to maintain. My cats adapted quickly, and I appreciate the thoughtful design.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the unit..except I had a charging issue. Eventually, I reached out to PETLIBRO-I had found that the cord and power supply didn’t work well. Charging when unit was flat seemed to take forever. I pulled a cord from another product and a power supply and the unit charged right up. So when I reached out, customer service asked for the model number and the problem. I explained the issue and then told the what i had isolated the issue as. I then needed to answer more questions and once those were answered, I needed to make videos of what I was seeing. Which I did. After every request, I would respond quickly, then wait. Don’t get me wrong, I love the product but bad customer service makes it sub par. Especially over really inexpensive parts. I need another fountain for my house and another petlibro fountain will not be purchased by me. UPDATE: A few days after the initial review, PETLIBRO informed be I would be receiving a new power supply, cord and base. Provided they function, I am happy for the addressing of the issue although I think the base I have is just fine. Customer service delays for PETLIBRO appear to be common and they do address that in their emails. But in the interest of transparency, my cats love this fountain. However, I did order a new fountain from a competitor while waiting for PETLIBRO to fix this one. So it will be a which one do the cats like more, stays in the house.
