Compact and portable. I have a Toto washlet at home but wanted something for when I'm away. This has lasted a long time after installing the batteries and I like the fact that it uses regular batteries which can be replaced when needed vs being stuck with a device that uses non-replaceable lithium batteries that becomes worthless after the rechargeable batteries die. Also traveling on planes with devices that have lithium batteries can be tricky due to restrictions, so I wanted to avoid that scenario and be able to use regular batteries. I wish the extra nozzle sprayer had a place to mount/store it somewhere on the portable bidet itself. The portable bidet has 2 intensities low and high which is strong enough to get the job done, albeit not as powerful as a toilet seat washlet but that is to be expected. The water chamber is a bit smaller compared to portable bidets with expandable chambers, but it can always be refilled if more water is needed. I chose this one because of the ability to replace the batteries and because of its smaller size/sleek design. I also really like it has an adjustable wand vs having a short spray nozzle. Portable bidets with the small nubby nozzles seem like they would be messier/harder to position compared to the precision of having an actual wand that can easily be maneuvered to the desired area. Also this portable bidet is fairly quiet, with only a soft whirring sound which makes it quiet enough for discreet use in public restrooms. I purchased another brand (which had an expandable tank) as a gift for a friend and while they were happy with it, they said theirs had a very loud mechanical sound which would be obvious when using it in public restrooms. (Pro tip: The sound of water trickling down into the toilet can be quieted by layering the bowl with toilet paper.) Overall, I'm VERY satisfied with my decision and would definitely buy it again.

I of course have a bidet at home but before I purchased the Kohler Purewash I didn’t have anything for when I travel. Once you’re a bidet user, to go any period of time without one is a bummer. The Kohler isn’t perfect and it’s obviously not on the level of a regular bidet but it’s absolutely worth the $50 I paid. The sprayer arm could be tighter to enable it to hold in place better but if you’re careful not to knock it out of place it’s fine. It’s easy to use, portable, discrete, adjustable, produces a decent stream and has a good battery life. The only real negative is that due to its small size, it doesn’t hold much water and I typically find myself needing more. My workaround for that is to combine the Kohler with the Original Holey Hiker Bidet. Yes I’m traveling with two bidets but the Holey Hiker is only $14 and it’s tiny. First I use the Kohler and then I give myself a blast with the Holey Hiker. Life is good.

Have to tighten it just right for it not to leak

Im shocked how impressed I am by this. I’ve had TOTOs portable bidet for a few years and its, ok… the pressure is only good enough. But I got this out of a test for another major brand - and since i have kohler bidets at home. First use and I was SHOCKED, it had enough pressure to do the clean in its first pass unlike the Toto. And it felt comparable enough to my home unit since it did the desired job. WOW. Only downside which, honestly i dont mind, is the screwing on and off of the tank is a little tricky at first, its fine once you figure it out, and means it converts into a very discrete package. I feel like i could take this in my work bag if I wanted. super nice 5 stars for sure. Great package, great water pressure, does the job. And its a name you can trust.

Very disappointed. Worked well for a month or so and then lost power. The stream of water is now little more than a trickle. I previously had a Toto washlet, which is great except it has a tendency to break. I’m going to buy another Toto because it is great until it breaks and I’ll deal with that.
