Note : the Korean Ginseng is grown in Korea. I'm taking that means South Korea. As far as I know, nothing is imported out of North Korea.

The bag doesn't say what the source is, but I think originally it was from South Korea. Eventually they probably started sourcing from multiple countries, including China and Korean. It is also possible that at least some of the ginseng is grown in America, because there are businesses doing that these days.

This product is Panax Ginseng, the most common (and genuine) Asian type of ginseng and is often called "Korean Ginseng" (although that name is misleading because it is native to multiple countries in East Asia). There are a number of other species of ginseng falling under the genus "Panax" as well as one under "Eleutherococcus" (aka "Siberian Ginseng"), which you can research if you'd like.

Micro Ingredients is an American company based in California. They are dedicated to selling certified organic products usually in the form of powders.

The other reviewer named "Molecular Quantam Mechanics" is lying. He is seriously misinterpreting the meaning of "200:1" and actually if you contact Micro Ingredients by message they do respond. They are also definitely are in the USDA Database under the operation name "DPL Trading Inc. Dba Micro Ingredients".

Is this ginseng the red or white color

It used to be white powder. Last order I placed (Apr 5, 2022), it was tan with a more earthy taste. I wonder about product consistency.
