Purchased this as my first 12in saw as my arrangement of 7 1/4 circular saw, jigsaw, reciprocating saw, and hacksaw just werent cutting it anymore (hah). I was very skeptical purchasing a saw with these features for $200 as similar saws often sell at the $600+ range. While ive never owned one of the "premium" options this functions exactly as expected. I was not able to lock past 30 degrees out of the box, however it may just need a slight adjustment. Verifying square and saw depth it was great out the box. Blade change is your standard arbor so no unexpected difficulties changing out the blade. Im currently working on OSB sheathing and decking so I changed out the stock blade for a fine cut. Its very easy to flip much larger boards and maintain an accurate cut with the laser. Obviously working on sheathing this isnt going to get all the way through but its certainly faster than realigning and clamping circular saw guides all the way across. That isnt a fault of this saw in particular, just a limitation of all miter saws. My only concern is that basically all of the knobs, adjustments, etc are plastic. However at this price point I will gladly replace them with metal should they break.

I have a 15 year old Rigid chop saw that works great with practically no plastic anywhere on it. I purchased this saw because of the slide and ability to make larger cuts, up to 12 inches. The saw works good with no issues however, there's way too many plastic pieces here. All of the tightening devices are plastic and cheap. The on off switch is a thin plastic lever and to set the saw at a 0 degree, there's a thin plastic indicator that moves when tightened. I needed to place a square on the blade to make sure it was straight. In the end it's going to be a good saw and handle the weekend projects. I would probably pay a little more and get a saw thats a bit more sturdy. I have used this saw for 3 weeks now and it cuts with ease and precision. Despite the pl a stic it works great.

Love it. Didn’t know what to expect. I never had heard of that brand before. I took a chance and I am happy with it . I have used it for several hours straight and works good.

Inexpensive, but not cheap. Easy to use, makes things so easy!

This saw checked all the boxes I wanted 12” blade, I wanted sliding compound movement, I wanted tilt on both sides, and I wanted a reasonable price. I asked for it for my birthday and my wife got it for me. There was one problem out of the box the fence had a crack in it (which can happen easily on aluminum molded parts) and my wife bought it for me more than the return/exchange window by the time it was my birthday. So I sent an email to Dovaman customer service and I will be honest I thought that there is no way I am getting a reply and I would have to makeshift a fence, I was wrong their customer service rep Katia replied same day, and each day after until the replacement fence arrived, Katia was fantastic. I have also included a picture of the last project(chicken coop) I was working on and using the miter saw. I normally only write reviews when a product or customer service is awful, it’s nice to write one for the opposite reason.

Excellent value for money no complaints at all

This seemed safer than our previous set up. Nice smooth cuts, easy to use, great for home projects.
