Flip Soft Pouch for Flip Ultra and Mino Camcorders (Grey)

I bought this as part of a graduation present, I wanted to make sure that they had a case for the Flip. There really aren't a lot of accessories offered at the moment.This thing is really hard to get the flip into. At first, my brother freaked out thinking I'd gotten him the wrong one. It's a lot like a silicone cover for phones. It fits perfectly, you just have to really stretch it.I really think that they could have done something a bit better to protect the Flip. A good idea would have been to have a set with a screen protector and then a silicone cover. With this type of cover they'd be able to give more protection and they'd be able to make a lot of colors.I think that the Flip really needs a better protector than just this flimsy pouch.

I recently bought the soft pouch to complete my Flip Mino purchase. I regret doing so because when I would retrieve the Flip from the soft pouch, the sides of the Flip were sticky with some kind of glue. It was difficult to clean off the Flip. After the fourth time, I gave up and returned to the cheap little covering that came with the Flip. Putting it in that pouch also removed the sticky glue that I just left on the Flip. Apparently, the friction eventually cleaned it off. Also the white stripes on the pouch began to peel off shortly after I began using the pouch. The stripes are a cheap touch.Problem solved but I am out the money for the soft pouch which does not please me. Besides when I looked at the soft pouch, it wasn't worth the money anyway! Avoid this product!

This item shows what I like to call a "yin and yang relationship". There are good and bad qualities that balance it out to be a decent product. The good: It does a good job of protecting the camera. There is also and attachable clip which makes the pouch and thusly the camera portable. The bad: It is a bit of a hassle to get the camera into and out of the pouch. Also, should you have the wrist cord tied to the camera, it only gets in the way when storing it in the pouch. So, due to the nearly equal good and bad, I've given this product 3 stars.

Don't use the attached clip. It isn't that sturdy and makes for easy pickings for pick pockets. Someone managed to unclip it and walk away with my camera within the time frame of walking one block of a busy tourist street.Because of the fold in the cloth, it's cumbersome to take this out at a moment's notice and you do need both hands to do it. It's also a couple of seconds too many to put it back in. Put it this way, if you were videoing your kid's soccer match, you'd probably miss him kicking the ball.As for getting it stolen, sure, it was my fault, I should have kept it in a zipped up pocket or under lock and key but one of the appeals of this pouch is the clip. It's too convenient to say "she'll be right" and clip it to anything attached to your body when your hands are full.This did look like it could protect the HD from scratches and some slight knocks but I only had it for a couple of weeks so I wouldn't know.

Made really well and great affordable cost!

As thrilled as I am with my new Flip Ultra video camera, I am equally not thrilled with this poor excuse for a protective camera bag. It is poorly constructed and you are required to "push" the camera into the bag and then "pull" (hard) the other end over the camera. The ring to secure the bag to your belt or purse is extremely flimsy and I would not consider it reliable. I returned mine the next day after receiving it. I agree with the other reviewers who said that the drawstring bag that the camera comes with is MUCH better than this barely stitched together piece of neoprene.

flip soft pouch. Bought this with the Flip Ultra. Has a nice big ring that is easy to grab and attach to a key chain or other item. Pouch fits nice and snug around Flip. You can slip the top down to reveal the controls and lens, so you don't have to remove the entire pouch. Used it in the snow yesterday and seems to be somewhat snow resistant. Don't buy it for the designer stripes because those are already peeling off and we've had the camera about 1 month.

Do you need toilet paper?! Well, if you do don't spend more than you need to on it.I returned this product the same day I received it. Think about something that will break your camcorder..... yes, stepping on it is one, and another way would be to use this hot pocket pouch. Don't be a fool. Don't buy this terrible pouch. My girlfriend "surprised" me with it after she heard I bought the flip. When she said she had a surprise I asked her: "Hey you didn't get me that 'toilet paper' pouch by any chance did you?" She was sad at first but then she understood me when the product arrived. She almost couldn't believe how poorly manufactured it was. I could bc I read THE REVIEWS for it. So if you're reading this and still want to take your chance than you know what you are.
