Covers the most important areas in Germany, lots of reading to do.
Very good although there are a few spelling errors. I am trying to increase my understanding of the German language. I have friends in Germany who are always impressed if you make an attempt. The book is helpful regarding the vast size of the country, well illustrated with helpful guidelines.

Was the intro written by google translate?
I’m a little speechless at the level of insight in the ‘portrait of germany’ - peppered with sweeping statements like ‘ many young people show little respect for their elders’..I have no idea if the touristic info is reliable but if this is the standard passed by the editors in the introduction, I think i’ll be buying another guide..
