The book was very good both my 10 and 12 years daughter enjoyed reading it. Found it very interesting and thought was a good book and gave knowledge.

A non-fiction book with the real role role models our children should be following. Beautiful pictures to capture children's imagination. Highly recommend.

This is a beautifully illustrated book that children and adults will find interesting and enjoy reading together.

Seeing that the traditional publishing industry loves to push stories on us about Muslim girls being deprived of formal education in various Muslim lands, it is so important for us to familiarize our children with the legacy of Fatima Al-Fihri. Thus, I am absolutely delighted that Muslim authors are doing their part and taking advantage of the self-publishing option to bring these stories to our kids. 🌟 Not only does this book tell the biography of Fatima Al-Fihri, it also weaves in the spiritual aspect of sincerity, determination and gratitude. In this book, there are slightly more details about her personal life and her journey of overseeing the construction of the building as well as her faith. It also makes mention of her sister Mariam and her contribution to building Al-Andalus Mosque with her share of inheritance. For some reason I don't really like this font that is chosen to tell the story. There is an additional page in the end to discuss the lessons derived from Fatima's story. Definitely a person our kids need to know about.

A very girl-empowering story

Gave this book as a gift to my neighbor. She and her mom love it. The quality of the book itself is not the best but the story and the pictures are pretty good.
