I’m giving this product, the ZENPETIO Oversized XXL Folding Camping Cot, 5 stars based just on how nice it looks. In other words, I haven’t tried to sleep on it. But I ordered this EXTRA wide model to serve as a spare bed. I’ve run out of guest beds. If I could de-clutter, I’d have access to 4 additional twin beds but…. Anyhoo, I had a slew of guests arriving recently and wasn’t sure who was sleeping with whom so I ordered this cot to use as my bed out in my workshop. After I ordered it, I received notification that the item could not be delivered in time for my impending guests’ arrival(s) so I figured I’d come up with some other arrangement and let the cot arrive whenever it did. To my surprise and delight, the order suddenly was in motion and I got the cot weeks earlier than originally anticipated. But then I learned who was sleeping with whom amongst my visitors and I suddenly had ample bed space. But the ZENPETIO Oversized XXL Folding Camping Cot seems very comfortable and as I am a big galoot, that’s saying something. I read so many reviews of these kinds of cots which come with a modest “mattress” and so many reviewers moan and complain about the thickness (or lack thereof) of the mattress. Well, for heaven’s sake people, it’s a camping cot not a Sealy Posturepedic! But I digress…. Once I’ve actually had the opportunity to sleep on the cot, I will hasten back to this review to update based on my nocturnal experience. That may be soon as another slew of friends/relatives are descending upon my household for Turkey Day and, once again, I’m not sure who’s sleeping with whom.

I was pleasantly surprised. This cot is great, roomy and comfortable. The cover is quite nice, too, but I put a sleeping bag underneath until I get a foam pad which will make it even more comfortable. Seems very sturdy, easy to unfold. Not too heavy.

Im a 300lbs guy. It holds me and I don't feel like it will break. It's more comfortable than I would expect but the pad needs to be thicker. It's thinner than the pictures make it seem.

It is worth what you pay. I am just going to try to find a thicker mattress to put on it. This mattress is nothing like the picture. I bought for my 6'1 220llb son. The length just about the same as him, he does have room to fit. The pad did not cover the the cot completely and the mattress is not thick at all. A few nights of sleeping on this and I can see it being wore out. You can already feel the frame underneath you brand new. For what it is, it's worth it for camping or someone staying a few days. For kids this would be perfect. So for the money yes definitely beats waking up on the floor with an air mattress. My review is just to let people know exactly what they are getting.

Love the product for its durability and price, easily set up and portable for its size. I'm 6'4 and I highly recommend this for tall people or anyone that loves to sleep comfortable..
