Better than previously owned soundboard. Hooked up to the tv correctly it produces amazing sound.

This is such a beautiful sound setup to pair with my Samsung Q80D TV. I'm hearing things in games and films that I didn't hear before and in some games the surround sound is so good I can hear where things are coming from very easily. Feeling the whole room rumble in action scenes then the crystal clear clarity in quieter moments makes me wonder why O didn't take the plunge sooner. The seller is good and responsive but Parcel Force not so much - their communication skills are virtually non-existent after sending me a message on Friday saying it'd be delivered on Monday despite them not even being in possession of the item - eventually turned up on Thursday so be aware of that as they're terrible. But, this is a review of the product, not the delivery after all and for the product it gets a big thumbs up from me. One word of advice - setup is very easy but for the eARC connection on Samsung TVs you'll need to go into the External Device Manager and ensure Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is turned on first or it won't find it. Then go to the sound menu, expert settings and turn on HDMI eARC mode from there.

Well made, looks good, works well with our LG OLED, don’t need to have the sound level up so much now (as per the case when just using the onboard sound on the tv ) not full of flashing lights when in use. Discreet small LED display only visible at switch on. Very pleased overall with this.

Sound quality was good when it worked. 20 days past warranty and the subwoofer stopped pairing with the sound bar. Samsung don't want to know (even if you can get through to speak to someone) and said that we have to get their approved contractors to call out and repair the Bluetooth board, even when they admitted there is a fault with it. Buy the wired version.

Pairs well with Sony TV (through HDMI ARC/eARC, ports on both devices - no comment on BT or WiFi connection) - but lose use of TV as "center speaker" unless paired with Samsung TV. Not a great loss, as far as I can tell. Not much sound from the subwoofer, but I haven't really cranked the volume on an action movie.

I received the Q800D yesterday and immediately installed it. I agree with some other users that the instructions I think are a little lacking. With that being said the system makes the sound so much better that just the TV. I was able to use the Q symphony being as my TV is only 2 years old and it basically uses the speakers on the TV as well as the sound bar. Noticeable difference between that and just the sound bar. As a previous purchaser commented on, the sound bar itself is a little beafier than I expected even with reading the dimension of it prior to purchasing it. Not sure I will be able to mount it on the wall because the included bracket/mount physically attaches to the sound bar in specific locations which means I can't install the mounts where the wall studs are for extra strength then sit the bar on it. I am weighing my option since it will require more than plastic wall anchors to support the weight.

Context: Paired this with a new Samsung QN70F 2025 tv. Connected via Qsymphony HDMI/EARC. Old configuration was a 12 year old Samsung tv with a cheap Visio sound bar. Performance: On my old configuration I'd routinely have to up the volume up to 50% in order to hear certain conversations. For this new combo, I have yet needed to increase volume above 25% as conversations are crystal clear and the bass is more than I'd ever need. Interface: The Qsymphony HDMI/EARC thing is an amazing piece of tech. You used to need two remotes or a universal remote to control the tv and the audio; not anymore. Ease of use: Took a little bit to figure out how to connect the subwoofer to the soundbar, turns out you need to follow the instructions (user error) and power the sub first and then the soundbar. Afterwards it connected with no problem. Value: I am hesitant to give it 5 stars cause part of me thinks the 600C is probably enough for most people (including myself) and is significantly less in cost. I ended up going with the Q800D because (1) I figure it is more expandable in supposing I want to get the rear speakers in the future (2) Electronics have a lot of longevity nowadays. My old setup lasted 12 years b4 needing replacing and it wasn't the soundbar that went first. Figured I may as well get a more expandable speaker since it is likely to last a while.
