Spigen Tough Armor [2nd Generation] Designed for iPhone 8 Case (2017) / Designed for iPhone 7 Case (2016) - Satin Silver

I love this case! Looks great and keeps my phone safe. I drop my phone A LOT!! and my phone is still in absolutely perfect condition. The iPhone 8 is super smooth and I dropped it three times before getting this case (luckily onto carpet each time). This case keeps my phone in my hand while still being smooth enough to slide in and out of my pocket. I've still found ways to drop my phone... like throwing it across the parking lot while getting out of my car! Still no damage!! Obviously, protection was my first priority, but the kickstand ended up being a nice bonus feature. It clicks open and close really easily. The only slight issue I had with the case was getting used to the power button. It took a firmer press than I thought it should and I would end up pressing the volume button together with the power button pretty often. Once I got used to it, wasn't an issue any more. I highly recommend this phone case!

I had used Otter Box for years and didn't like slim cases when I held other people's phones. My Otter Box got all ratty on the rubber again so I took a shot on the dark and got this one. Love it. It is a great fit and has good design to feel secure in your hand, and the little kickstand is a quality addition. I'm probably going to use it for years.

I decided to buy this case when I figured I should have a case that doesn't have a popsocket; the case with the popsocket, coincidentally, is the same brand, Spigen; it is the "rugged armor" case. Just holding the case without my phone in it, I could tell how tough the case is. It feels sturdy in the hand and not bendable, which in this case, is a good thing. The case has "buttons" on the side for the volume buttons and the lock button. I probably won't have any use for the kickstand since it angles the phone too low or too high for my tastes. It withdraws back into the case with an audible "click." I will give the fifth star if the armor case can stand the test of time. Until then, four stars! I will update the review once a year or so has pass to see if it has survived. UPDATE: While I did say that I was going to come back to this review after a year to update, I have since then gotten a new phone; however, in the short time I have used this case, it did serve its purpose of protecting my phone. I would say this case has earned it's fifth star.

Got a new iPhone 8 and was going from an iPhone 6 with an OtterBox Commuter to take a chance on the Spigen. I am glad I did, price wise it was certainly cheaper and it looks just as sturdy as the OtterBox, I like the feel of this better in the hand too. The Spigen Tough Armor seems to protect better than the Commuter or certainly the Simplicity but It's not as protective as the OtterBox Defender. I had a defender for my old 4S and in my opinion is defender is a bit of an overkill. This case is stylish and protective which is the best of both worlds. The only thing that stops it getting 5 stars is I do not like is the quality of the built-in kickstand which is almost worthless, it cannot be used in portrait as it is on one side and so the iPhone falls to the other side. Then in landscape, it's not very stable and the flimsy stand feels like it could break off at any time. But honestly I did not buy this "Tough Armor" case for the built-in stand and so I will very much recommend it for everything else.

This will be my third Spigen case. I owned two of the previous generations with my older iPhones and always received compliments whenever someone saw it. Dropped phones multiple times and never got any actual damage to phone while cases were on. I also always liked the shape of these cases because they use the thinnest design possible without losing protection. Some people don’t even realize it’s a case they just think it’s part of the phone. So when I bought my iPhone 8 I was sure to buy one of these babies for it, and I’m just as pleased as I was with the previous models if not more so. The kickstand is a nice touch, it’s not really flimsy but it’s just made of a thin plasticy metal material so I’d be careful about using it all the time or being rough with it. Excellent case though, my favorite part is the fact that it makes all the buttons larger so even while wearing gloves I can still adjust the volume and lock my phone without taking gloves off.

I don’t typically write reviews so I’ll be brief. Case feels solid, well constructed. Extra height around rim to protect the screen better. Still thin, easy to get out of pocket. Nice lines and looks sharp for what it is. Kickstand is a useful addition and duos to add bulk. As mentioned in many reviews, the buttons are stiff and take slightly more effort to press, but not a big deal and maybe a plus at times. Given quality, looks, utility, price and protection, this case is an excellent value... highly recommended!

it’s 9:39pm had my phone face down by the lamp and realized how good the case still looks almost brand new and I must say this is hands down the best case I’ve ever had in my life it holds up really well to the elements and trust me when I say you need this case it’s easy to remove easy to put on if you get the color black the color does not fade and if you have tempered glass any time you drop your phone you just know it’s okay or at least I got used to knowing my phone wouldn’t crack, this case I see now as part of my phone and I’m so exited about this product! I really took the time out of my day to look through my purchased product filter the date to when I purchased it that was April 2019 to tell you stop overthinking and buy it

Awesome phone case that is very durable! Slick design. Love the kick stand, works very well. the seller is prompt and I got the phone case in no time! Half the price of those in stores! Been buying this brand for a few years now and will only buy this brand after my experiences with these cases to protect my phone! Fits great on an iPhone 8. Love it!

I had a Spigen case on my iPhone SE (Such a great phone!) but it was time to move on from my little SE to a regular sized iPhone (upgraded to the iPhone 7) and as such I needed a new case and the first thing I bought was a Spigen case! My reasoning for this was because I had such a great experience with Spigen previously on my SE, I would go with what I know, and of course, what I trust. The case is exactly the same as my previous case for my SE in that it has the same durability, comfort, and it adds a nice weight to the phone as well. It forms a good grip on the phone, which is the main reason people drop their phones because they tend to slip out of hands. There's not really any need for screen protectors on a Spigen case either, as the case wraps around the device and it has a raised edge to prevent the screen from touching whatever surface the phone is laying on. There is one quality of life improvement I have noticed on this particular case; it has a little clip at the back which acts as a rest if you are watching media on your phone, so this is a nice little touch. If you want a decent case that you want to protect your phone with; don't settle for a gel case. Settle for a Spigen because trust me, it will protect your phone for years! I know this as my iPhone SE is scratch free and still looks brand new.

Go for it if want a sleek protective Case. Your Phone will feel a bit thicker obvious but very convenient design to use.

Ya había tenido una funda Spigen similar a esta con mi iPhone 5S, y ahora teniendo el iPhone 7 he decidido volver a comprar otra Spigen. Robusta y protege perfectamente el movil de caidas y golpes. Se ajusta perfectamente y los botones siguen funcionando sin problemas. Lleva una pestaña que se despliega y permite tener el móvil inclinado para visualizarlo, pero solo en horizontal. Edito: Hoy se ha caido el iphone totalmente plano desde 1,5 m haciendo un ruido sordo de aquellos que dices... ya está, se ha roto el móvil... pues no, la funda lo ha protegido perfectamente! He de decir q la pantalla estaba hacia arriba, aun asi por el ruido que ha hecho (como cuando te das un planchazo al tirarte a la piscina) era para romperse bien...
