Review: Good things don't last forever anymore - Good gate opener but my motor has already failed. We've gone through at least four of these gate openers in the last 18 years we've lived here. The last one was just bought in 2024 and already I have to replace it again Review: I would buy again - I’ve used these openers for about 22 years. My first one would still be working if the kettle had pulled all the wires out this one is good but it’s erratic. I have a little trouble with it sometimes opening without being told to and not closing when told to. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D462VB59 | | Battery Cell Type | Lithium Metal | | Best Sellers Rank | #74,591 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #33 in Gate Openers | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars (64) | | Date First Available | May 14, 2024 | | Included Components | (1) 3-button Transmitter(MMT103), (1) Bracket Set, (1) Hardware Bag, (1) Install Ruler, (1) Control Box, (1) Operator Arm, (1) Transformer | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight | 14.47 pounds | | Item model number | MM271-A | | Manufacturer | Mighty Mule | | Part Number | MM271-A | | Product Dimensions | 29.5 x 8.5 x 5.5 inches | | Size | Single Gate Opener - Upgraded | ## Images ![Gate Opener, Solar Ready, Automatic Gate Opener for Single Swing Gates up to 300lb or 12ft, with Precision Installation Ruler, Upgraded Kit, MM271-A - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71q0PlDhKbL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good things don't last forever anymore *by C***. on October 23, 2025* Good gate opener but my motor has already failed.
