Phone Holder for Land Rover Defender 90 110 130 2020-2023, 360° Adjustable Dash Phone Mount Holder for All Smartphones (A Style)

This review only applies the part that mounts to Defender's dashboard. The included phone holder seems kind of useless, and my intention was never use that part anyway but build my own mount using this as the base to connect to the dashboard and for that it's excellent. The mount part is sturdy aluminum and fits well to the dashboard when direction video is followed but it needs to be in correct angle. The removable ball adapter does not seem to be any RAM mount standard size, measured 17mm diameter but as it's threaded to the mount (M6 thread) can be replaced. So get yourself M6 threaded RAM ball adapter and arms and mount the phone holder you want to those!

This seemed like a sturdy, well made product and the concept is great, but it would not mount to my 2023 Defender 90. At its fully tightened position it is about 1/8th inch too loose to grip the dash and just falls off.

So this absolutely fits the dashboard of the land rover if you install it correctly. The problem is that the holder does NOT fit a larger phone with a case. I have the Samsung s25 plus and it is too big for the holder. Great concept. Poor design.

The product did not mount great to the right of my steering wheel between the wheel and the radio. Mounting to the right of the steering wheel is the location shown in the pictures. I tried mounting on the dash to the left of my steering wheel and it is secure and works great on that side. You have to wind the power cord over your steering wheel which isn’t ideal but I found that if I wrap the cord once around the windshield wiper stalk it stays in place and is out of the way.

Great product if only it would tighten properly
