AA Magnetic L Plate, White, Pack of 2

Bought these just to find out that the back of my focus isnt fully metal, had to tape it on the window in the boot. It is kinda heavy so it fell off a few times but my car does frequently fog up which probably weakened the tape adhesive. Strong magnetism though, it stuck on well on the hood.

These plates are high quality with thick strong magnets. Quite visible and the print his also good. Major issue: most cars' bonnets or hoods are not magnetic, neither the bumpers. So these will not stick as they did not to mine. Had to tape the front one which then flew off when we sped up (don't forget to tape from the bottom to prevent air lifting 🤦🏻). So yeah, either also get an adhesive one or bring your packing tape with you.

I purchased these L plates while practising driving with family members and they've done the job well. I used them on my Vauxhall Corsa and found that they fit nicely without looking oversized or awkward on the car. The quality was better than I expected for the price. The plates feel thick and sturdy rather than flimsy, and the print is clear and easy to see from a distance. The magnetic backing has good strength and stayed securely attached during normal driving, even at higher speeds on dual carriageways. They're also very easy to put on and remove when needed, which is useful if the car is shared with other drivers. The magnets sit flush against the bodywork and don't move around once properly attached. One thing I did notice is that during colder weather the magnetic plates can become a little stiff. I found that warming them slightly indoors before fitting made them much easier to position and helped them sit flatter against the car. Once attached, however, I didn't experience any issues with them staying in place. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. The plates feel durable, have good magnetic adhesion, are easy to use, and fit my Vauxhall Corsa well. If you're learning to drive with a family member rather than an instructor, these are a practical and reliable option.

Bought these for my son who's currently learning to drive, and after going through a few sets of cheap magnetic L plates that kept falling off at speed or in the rain, these have been a revelation. He's been really impressed and they've stayed firmly in place through motorway driving and heavy rain without budging once. The magnets feel noticeably stronger than the cheaper ones we've tried before and they look smart and professional too. The pack of 2 covers front and back easily and swapping them between cars is quick and easy which is handy when he's practising in different vehicles. No residue or marks on the paintwork either. If you've been burned by flimsy L plates before these are genuinely worth it. Would definitely recommend to any parent with a learner driver in the family!

This is the second time that one of these magnetic plates has not stayed on the car. When we finished the lesson, the plate on the front of the car had fallen off. I do not know when and this is very dangerous. I bought a set of these about a month before and one had fallen off but I thought that was a fluke. This is the second set where I have lost one plate. It seems like the magnets are not strong enough. It was not raining or windy.

Check that these will attach to your vehicle properly before purchase, as one of them flew off my bonnet at 40mph and there was nothing to attach the rear L-plate to, so I stuck it to the inside of the rear window with poster tape!

I bought these as a present to a friend who had been wanting them they have a good magnetic strength and as of yet have not fallen of the car as she is using it it is a good size. And is not to thick and is actually quite thin. It is really easy to put on the car and will not fall off as you are driving.

Wouldn't buy again.... Blew off the car on first use. Just get the interior ones.
