SO FUN!!
Oh my gosh, my 3 year old loves playing this game!! It’s so fun with color recognition that’s on the dice and Finding the color on the ice. The game does tend to end sooner with a 3 year old, but it’s so fun no matter what. It’s a very durable game, it’s great quality too. It’s perfect size for toddlers and helps them learn colors.

ONE OF THE GREATEST GAMES, IT IS A MUST BUY!
This game is without a doubt one of the greatest! Do not hesitate on getting it, it is a MUST! It has become my little one's favorite and we play with it every single day. The colors and the mammoth are the cutest. I know there's the original version with the penguin, but I decided to get this version because of that. My son also enjoys the Ice Age movies and he thinks it's Peaches. lol The game will not disappoint, it's loads of fun for EVERYONE in the family! Even my husband and I enjoy playing, we sometimes have to "fight" our son to let us play versus each other because he refuses to let go of the hammer. Even my one year old enjoys hitting the cubes, doesn't understand the concept of it, but he has a blast and is full of giggles! The game is easy to understand and pretty easy to set up. My three year old has a blast setting it up and finding different ways to arrange the cubes. It's a good size and worth every penny! It's even a good way to help little ones learn and recognize colors. JUST BUY IT, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

The best version!!
We have the regular penguin ice game but this version is SO much better! My toddler loves it and the dice makes it so much more fun and also easier for him to follow the rules and not just smash the whole thing in one go lol it’s fun and durable, easy to play. Highly recommend!

Great game for kids
My kids loved it when they received it on Christmas, however it’s not made it back out of the game closet since, so maybe not the most captivating of games. It operates as advertised, made with sturdy plastic, there are many pieces to keep track of, kids caught onto the game quickly, set up was easy. If I were to prompt them to play, I believe they would, but like I said it’s not one they go for on their own.

I hate the original game. This is SO MUCH BETTER! Great idea with the dice and colors.

This games a blast. The pieces are large and sturdy. The colours are beautiful. The mammoth is SO cute! They fit nicely into the set. My son loves smashing the blocks & naming the colours. He doesn’t grasp that you have to roll dice first to see which ones to knock out. He’ll get it soon enough. I teach him to take turns, then use the hammer to knock one out. He laughs the whole time. Wish it did come with a drop tray to collect blocks once knocked out. Be careful using on raised surfaces incase pieces get knocked off. I used it on his sensory table and they still go flying. As you can tell, all the pieces are nice and smooth, no rough edges. It also fits perfectly back into the box, so it’s great for parents when you have to put away or store it. I recommend getting it solely for the purpose of being so large. Other models like these are flimsy, cheap plastic. This looks like it will last him a few years of play. I placed it next to a pop can so you can make out size. My son is 4yrs old, and this works great! Very happy kid!

The Mammoth Edition of Don't Break the Ice is a delightful twist. The large, vibrant pieces make it even more engaging for kids, and the mammoth is so super cute.It keeps children entertained, and encourages strategic thinking. However, to get the pieces into the square ice, it is a little difficult for children under the age of six, they don't really have this strength to push the cubes in tight enough. As long as somebody older or a parent can set it up for them, it leads to hours of fun.
