Lovely tasting and good value for money. Like the fact that the tea is organic and the bags biodegradable.

A pleasant and medium strength cup of tea with a nice flavour.

Advertised as plastic free. So very disappointed to find out they in fact contain PLA. Although PLA (polylactic acid) is a biodegradable plastic made from renewable resources and while traditional plastics like nylon and polyethylene are synthetic and not biodegradable. PLA can still release microplastics when exposed to hot water, similar to traditional plastics, and requires specific industrial composting conditions to break down effectively.

The moment I tasted this tea I realised the word organic has nothing to do with what I enjoy about tea. It would have been great if this tea had tasted better than all others and was organic but like quite a few things I've come across 'organic' it was disappointing. I had an organic chicken a few months ago and it was as tough as old boots and twangy in flavour! This tea drunk black or with milk did not hit the spot for me, just a weird flavour an unsatisfying. Packaging was hip and all recyclable cardboard but the teabags looked old. Yellowy bags. Yes not bleached I hear someone say, but to me they looked like old white socks that had seen better days. Without good flavour organic is no benefit. I will pass them on for others to try. My photo shows a white Twinnings breakfast teabag next to Clipper's yellow bags.
