Can you put your own homemade toothpaste inside the sleeve instead of using it to hide a toothpaste?

Hi. Thanks for your question. I am sorry no. It doesn’t have a closure mechanism. The cap you see is the cap from a toothpaste covered by the TubeCoverz.

does it work with a toothpaste dispenser?

Thanks for your question. It is a cover only. The toothpaste tube goes inside. The cap is part of the toothpaste it is covering and not included. Sorry for any confusion.

Would the sleeve work on a tube of toothpaste with a traditional/small cap (tom’s of maine), rather than a 1.5-2" flip-top cap? it’s ok if a bit is exposed at the neck, as long as it will *stay on* without the large flip-top cap. (i’m excited to find this product, as i’ve pondered similar solutions myself. thanks!)

I have 4.2oz Tom's of Maine tube in my house - so I tried it out. The cover is too big for it. It's like wearing a boyfriends sweater. You can put it on, but it's probably not the look you're going for. :-)

Love it! Perfect for bathroom users that don't put away toothpaste. The price for one tube cover is a little much, I wish they came in more variety of solid neutral colors but the grey kind of goes alright with chrome fixtures.

Nice product but doesn't fit all sizes listed

Well made product and great idea. However, it doesn't fit all the sizes stated on the companies website. Also the white cap that is shown does not come with the cover. It is just the sleeve. Return process was easy.
