This book critically analyzes the doctrine of the two natures, the idea of progress, and the superiority of modern civilization versus the spirit of Tradition. Review: Recommended - This was the first Evola book I've read. I heard about it through history podcasts which referenced this particular work frequently. A basic outline of European history would be helpful for readers as Evola speaks on many historical personalities and events with an expectation that the reader is somewhat familiar with what he is referencing. It is a challenging book to read, in the best way possible, many paragraphs lead me to a long pause, contemplating his meaning before I could continue. It is clear from reading that Evola spent enormous energy on creating his weltanschauung and the wealth of knowledge he put together in this book is testament to that heroic effort. I will certainly be investing in more of Evola's works and highly recommend this book. Review: one of his best - Evola's works are generally quite a difficult read for people with little knowledge of the esoteric world. For a newcomer, they are not works that are standalone. it is advisable you will need to have a internet search engine to help you out understand some of the things he discusses. For those who are comfortable to learn something new, this is a great book. Ride the Tiger is actually my favourite Evola book, But revolt against the modern world is a tight rival

A book full of absurd pagan nonsense. The writing itself is more obscure and ten times less interesting than Nietzsche. For quality reactionary philosophical theory, look elsewhere.

This is a wonderfully produced book. The writing itself is of course good, but it also has great art on the front, and a wonderful style to it. Many books I buy off of Amazon come looking used, or not amazing; but this book is by far the best I have gotten off Amazon. It looks clean, clear, and great. The paper is high quality, and the text looks very nice. Amazing work to whoever designed this book, as well of course to the writer, which you can find reviews of on here.

Revolt against the modern world, or: how to philosophize with the sword. An unrelenting critique against the confusion, chaos and materialism of the modern dark age (Kali Yuga), and a suggestion for the return to the order and nobility of Tradition, where Spirit and Warrior Ethos was one.
