Not a UK model - PRC Only.
The camera itself appears to be genuine. However, I was disappointed to discover the Canon factory security seal had already been broken. After further inspection, the box was clearly marked "FOR P.R.C. ONLY", indicating it is a Chinese-market model. Canon UK also would not accept the serial number for product registration. None of this was obvious from the product listing, and I believe buyers should be made aware if they are purchasing an imported model rather than an official UK retail version. Amazon Customer Service was helpful and confirmed they would support the product with a 2-year warranty and offered a full refund if I wished to return it, which is appreciated. My issue is with the lack of transparency in the listing, not the camera itself.

This really is a fantastic camera. Low end price for mirrorless, but the quality of photos and videos are brilliant. There may be no bells and whistles such as touch screen, but this does not take away quality. Another bonus is it's super lightweight, so no achy shoulders. Edit. After a few weeks of use we started together error message 70. Constantly had tire insert battery, sometimes it would start up,sometimes not. Contacted Cannon support ànd I was totally ignored,luckily Amazon refunded. Very DIssapointed wit Canon customer services.
