After having tried three brands of slippery elm this one is the real deal. When I needed it for a digestive issue recently I purchased what seemed a reputable brand. It did not jell and I didn't experience any healing qualities. I looked further and eventually purchased two other brands...three in total. None of them worked. Desperate to find the real slippery elm from the inner bark I tried once more with this product. Finally I saw the quality I was looking for and the results have been amazing. Don't waste money on the others. This is the real slippery elm. Don't hesitate. it's worth every penny.

It worked although it interfered with my digestion, it did help my gut but had to stop taking it which is fine.

This product is awful, tastes mostly normal but sinks to bottom of cup and stays gritty, no mucilage formed at all, did not help with gut issues, try other brands, stay away from this one! Read other 1 star reviews, apparently I am not the only one! And conveniently "unreturnable"...

This is a great product. It is good quality. It really helps with my digestion & has a natural nutty flavor. 2/25/2026 - Update on my review- I just opened the package of slippery elm that I recently ordered. It tastes like it is burnt or toasted. It doesn’t have the nutty flavor the other bags of slippery elm they have sent me in the past had. I’m not sure what they have done to it, but I’m throwing out the bag I just opened. If I could give them a zero star, I would. What a waste of money.

I do believe this can aide in healing but it’s hard to dissolve. It will not dissolve in water as it states. You can put it in a smoothie. It also drys out my gums and my mouth. My bag is almost full. Update: This company reached out to me and refunded my money. Very honest of them so changing to 4 stars due to wonderful customer service.

I wanted some plain old slippery elm powder for gut support and this fits the bill. There are 349 servings in the container with a scoop for measuring. I'm adding this to my daily smoothie and there's no discernible flavor but it does somewhat neutralize a bit of the taste of my smoothie. It also makes it a little more thick and more of a gel consistency. It's a different experience but no so bad that I can't take this everyday.
