The Braun FaceSpa Face Epilator is easy to use and removes facial hair effectively, even very fine hairs. It leaves my skin smooth for much longer than shaving and is more precise than tweezing. It’s compact, gentle, and convenient to use at home. There is slight discomfort at first, but it’s manageable and improves with regular use. Overall, it’s a good product and I’m happy with the results.

I love this! I bought this after buying the Braun Silk-Epil 9 as I wanted something that could epilate my face more easily. The brush and toning attachments were an added bonus but they are worth it! EFFECTIVENESS - It is very effective! My face is super smooth! I use this once per month and my routine is cleanse as normal, epilate, re-cleanse using the brush (to prevent folliculitus from epilation), apply serum and moisturiser, use toning attachment. I find that it's best to use when I'm not going out anywhere as the redness can last a while (a few hours) and it's best to avoid applying makeup the day you do it as this can lead to breakouts. The design of this makes it so so easy to epilate fiddly areas and really quick too. Be careful around your eyebrows though...I would only use this between my brows but not above or below as you are likely to lose an eyebrow! The brush is great for gently but thoroughly cleansing and the toning attachment is lovely and cooling and helps your moisturiser sink in better. COST - It is pricey but worth it in the long run...it will pay for itself in under a year since I no longer need beauty salon appointments. Also, it's worth paying more for the rechargeable one rather than the cheaper one with disposable batteries. The battery life on this is amazing. SIDE EFFECTS? - It is a little painful (same as threading), especially the top lip area, but the pain is less over time. Redness can be severe initially (use this while your boyfriend is out lol) but does go down fairly fast. I do breakout a little afterwards (I am very breakout prone though), but I have found that cleansing before and after epilating, as well as regular (2-3 times a week) exfoliation with salicylic acid serum helps a lot. Also, avoiding makeup or clogging products the day you do it is a good idea. Try to use gentle products and if your skin can tolerate aloe Vera gel, that is the best thing to use. OVERALL - I highly recommend this face spa, it works very well, is lovely to use and because of the extras it feels like a facial at home.

Braun FaceSpa Pro 912 I bought this on black Friday sale for around £65, which was a discounted price. I have been using braun epilators for about 20 years now and they have been excellent. And I am a big fan and advocator of it because I find them genuinely excellent with their products. In this Braun FaceSpa Pro 912, the main feature is the facial epilator, along with it you get a facial cleansing brush and a Microvibration head (for better facial cream, serum applicator). pros: - it has a small head and its useful for reaching the moustache area and around the eyebrows. - used it twice now and the battery life is good. - the epilator goes in 2 directions, which is very helpful when you’re trying to epilate. The central button determines the direction. With one click it does 1 direction, and then when you click again it goes the opposite direction. This is helpful when you’re epilating the left side of the area and then the right side of the face. cons: - the battery operated facial spa costs around £ 30. I am not sure if its justified to be more than double the cost, just because the same product is mains operated. This is the biggest con for it. And I would understand other buyers reservation in buying this product because of it. - the microvibration head appears to be a little gimmicky and I am not sure whether it helps put cream on better or soak into the skin better. I have only used it once. I do not see myself using it more frequently. - I already own a facial cleansing brush from Remington, so this part was of the Face spa was of little use to me, however others might find it useful. Update September 2020: I've owned this face epilator for about 9 months now. And I have changed the rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. It is definitely gentler on the face than using the Braun epilator with the facial attachment on it. If you've never used an epilator then I don't recommend trying the face first (you should probably try a small part of the leg with a normal epilator first and see how you feel first). Also if you know that your pain threshold is low then I don't recommend this either. This one gets rid of softer hairs that is normally found on the face. The battery life is pretty good for each charge. I normally use it about 8-10 times before it needs up go on the charge again. But then I don't spend that much time on the face as I would on the legs. All in all in very happy with it. Just the price still seems a little steep for what it is, hence I've kept it at 4 stars.

I wasn’t sure I believed this would work but my goodness it really does. It isn’t for the faint hearted but if you’re looking for an effective epilator that catches both fine and thicker hair with ease then this is the product for you. I’m so impressed and love the cleansing brush and massager too.

He estado usando otro dispositivo de la misma marca, con las mismas características, pero que se carga con pilas y, aunque funciona bien, se me ha caído y el cabezal raspa la piel, por lo que he optado por comprarme este otro de carga eléctrica. A priori, puedo decir que este modelo tiene más potencia y también permite un uso inalámbrico porque lleva batería incorporada. Además, después de probarlo, puedo confirmar que es muy efectivo. Hasta comprar el primero, siempre había sido reacia a este tipo de depiladora, usando siempre pinzas para el rostro, pero reconozco que me he enganchado a este dispositivo porque realmente no hace nada de daño, es más rápido y coge el pelo sumamente corto, que es difícil de atrapar con las pinzas. Como además elimina el vello de raíz, deja la piel más suave y tarda más en crecer, y al final creo que el pelo acaba por no crecer, o al menos es más fino y débil. Este dispositivo es de color blanco y bronce, incluye 3 cabezales con funciones diferentes, para depilar, tonificar y realizar la limpieza facial del rostro, y tiene una cuidada presentación en una caja con la imagen del producto, que contiene información sobre sus características. En el interior, todo viene bien protegido y, aparte del cuerpo del dispositivo con el cabezal de depilación, encontramos el cabezal del cepillo, el de microvibración, una escobilla de limpieza, una base para que se sostenga el dispositivo, una bolsa para guardarlo e instrucciones en varios idiomas, incluido el español. Es eficaz eliminando el vello facial desde la raíz, consiguiendo una debilitación del pelo y consiguiendo una piel suave más tiempo, con un cabezal que tiene 10 microaberturas que atrapan el vello más fino de hasta 0.02 mm de ancho y de solo 0,5 mm de altura. El cepillo de limpieza facial es específico para piel sensible, oscilando con suavidad y eliminando poco a poco con el uso diario las impurezas con suavidad; es el único que puede limpiarse con agua y tiene que estar completamente seco para volver a colocarlo. Por otro lado, el cabezal de microvibración se usa con sérum o crema para hacer más efectivo el tratamiento tonificando la piel, con 25 microvibraciones por segundo. Para usarlo, previamente tienes que cargarlo con el adaptador eléctrico a través de la conexión que está situada en la base del dispositivo. Encendiéndose un LED de color blanco parpadeante, cuando la luz se apaga significa que está completamente cargado. Después solo tienes que activar el botón de encendido y usarlo de forma inalámbrica. Lo cierto es que es mucho más rápido que unas pinzas manuales, ya que puede realizar 200 movimientos por segundo. Con este depilador facial, puedes retocarte las cejas, la parte superior del labio, alguna zona de la barbilla, o donde puedas necesitarlo. En resumen, como comentaba antes funciona francamente bien, con leves molestias y atrapa con facilidad el pelo corto y fino, aunque en algunas ocasiones tengas que repetir una pasada por el mismo sitio. Estoy muy contenta con este producto, aunque sugiero que el próximo paso pueda ser una base de carga inalámbrica.
