The first time I messed up by putting the smallest seeds in the bottom. This time, after completely reading the directions, I am doing much better. Top to bottom, smallest to biggest, Alfalfa, broccoli, brown lentils, white beans. They are doing very well, only 3 days and all are starting to sprout. Looking forward to 😋 yummy sprouts. After use I have decided its not what i wanted. This is great for sprouts, but not microgreens which is what I wanted. so am giving it to a friend that loves sprouts and moving on to microgreen trays. Still a good little system.

Has some design issues. Lack of ventilation for one and to empty the water tray you have to lift all 4 trays off the top and set them somewhere, drain the water tray then place the top pieces back. Also, to use it you have all trays together otherwise the trays/top don't fit together correctly. If you want to start one tray one day, another the next etc, you still have to start with all the trays in place (or leave the top off). Could use some design attention/updates to improve the product. The pieces nest neatly together for compact storage.
