Great Court Shoe with Comfort and Grip I’ve been wearing the ASICS Upcourt 5 for indoor volleyball and I’ve come away very impressed. Right out of the box they fit comfortably without much of a break-in period. The upper is lightweight and breathable, so my feet don’t overheat even during long sessions. The padding around the ankle collar feels supportive without being bulky, and the overall shoe feels light on my feet. On the court, traction is excellent. These shoes grip the gym floor well, which gives me confidence on quick stops and lateral moves. The cushioning is balanced – not overly soft, but enough to absorb impact when landing from jumps. The styling is also a plus; the peacoat blue with bright orange accents stands out in a sharp but not over-the-top way. One thing to keep in mind: this is more of an entry-to-mid level indoor shoe. While great for volleyball, racquetball, or general gym use, serious or elite-level players may want something with a bit more advanced cushioning and support. Also, like most indoor shoes, they run slightly narrow, so wide-footed players might consider sizing up. Bottom line: A comfortable, lightweight indoor court shoe with excellent traction and clean styling. These shoes are everything I had hoped for when I ordered them. They look great, fit like a glove, they are very comfortable! I tried several pairs of shoes, but returned them as they did not meet the goals one would desire in a court shoe. I use them on an indoor pickleball court (hardwood surface) and the grip is very good, by this I mean it grips just the right amount. For example, you don't want too much grip and twist an ankle when planting your foot to stop on a quick sharp movement. Likewise, it offers plenty of grip to take off quickly without any slippage. These shoes should perform well outdoors as they do on our indoor courts. I am very pleased and highly recommend these excellent shoes! You won't find a better shoe, even at 2-3 times the price this is offered on Amazon. Save yourself and Amazon some time and hassle, just pick these shoes first and you will be playing right away, no need to continue your search for a great pair of court shoes. See you on the court!

So far pretty good. The grip on the bottom is pretty good but as good as another shoe I just wore out. The shoe is a bit narrow, so I loosened the strings - and since the string is relatively short, there is not enough string to tie a knot. Not a deal breaker since the most important thing for me is quality and grip on the bottom since I play racquetball. Overall pretty pleased with the shoes and grip and the value is there for the price. Quality seems pretty decent. The previous shoe I wore out started having the top part of the sole peel off after just 3 times, and this one I didn't have any issue with so far after a few times wearing.

Runs small, but they fit my daughter who is a size smaller than I am.

Truth be told, the color scheme in the pictures captured me, then the price point, finally the large amount of reviews that were 5 stars. When getting these in the fall of 2024, I thought the outdoor pickle ball season was winding down, but was able to play out side the next 75-80 days. I am a C+ pickle baller at 64 years young, at that time I weighed north of 280. The shoe does run a pinch narrow, but zero slippage. The bottom sole is very good on a concrete or asphalt court outside, plus as good indoors on a gym floor, composite or old school tile. I have even washed them 6-7 times, color has not faded, Asics work well for me, plus I am prone to flat feet, arch is great without being too dominant . Will definitely buy another pair, if these every wear out of breakdown.

These have been great shoes for indoor volleyball. Very comfortable straight out of the box. I have high arches and often struggle to fit in shoes, but these have the perfect amount of space. Very tacky and give great bounce to my jumps.

Honestly, these shoes are perfect for volleyball. The sole is very decent, grippy and does not worn out. The material is nice and strong, breathable parts, nice color; overall would recommend!

Very light and comfortble pickleball shoe. Very stable whn cutting and turning to make shots. Excellent traction on a hardwood court. Very attractive shoe.
