Replace Your Mobile Hotspot or MIFI with Something MUCH Better, especially for Family's with Kids
Do you live in an area with no high speed internet AND spotty cell signal? In my case, I purchased a Verizon Hotspot, but it was lacking in a few ways... #1 when plugged into my WaveForm antenna (that I had just mounted on the roof pointed at the nearest cell tower) the Hotspot didn't stay plugged in well... #2 no scheduling (so it would go to sleep automatically at night), #3 no throttling of those connected, #4 no filtering of unwanted stuff... On the otherhand, the PepLink can do all that (and more). The only struggle has been the learning curve of just knowing how to configure it in the settings so it does exactly what I want it to do. It's been fun, really, learning the in's and out's of it, and now I don't have to subject myself to using satellite internet (which would cost much more than a 50GB/month hotspot The scheduling is VERY cool, you can set it to be off any 1/2 hour in the week, or any number of them, and that is really marvelous. No more, "the WiFi is going off at 10 p.m.!!!", and then having to manually do it, it goes off for you, and then the kids get sleep, and aren't as grumpy to wake up for school in the morning Plus, with the BandWidth Control, you can set the minimum to like 300 kps to maximize the amount of web browsing with minimizing the data usage. You can create user groups to assign more data to different groups You can also watch data usage by month, day, hour, or realtime Oh, did I mention that you can monitor both the signal strengh (dBm) and the quality (dB) in a single graph?! So useful in making sure you're connected to a good signal. AND AND AND... You can actually select the BANDS, the cellular bands, that you want to connect to (in case you think you can figure out something better than what Peplink does on it's own, or, if it for some reason connects to a weak 5G signal or something, but I doubt it would do that. It's fun for testing Plus, the Web Blocking is free! Check boxes for AV, Adware, P2P, File Hosting, Update Sites, & P*r* Lots more even more techy features Am I happy it cost this much? No, but... its a one time cost... and you get a ton of features that the MiFi just does not have

A $600 Paperweight – Don't Trust the Hype
I bought the Peplink B One 5G specifically for CES, thinking the "unbreakable" SpeedFusion marketing would actually hold up under pressure. Spoilers: it didn’t. This thing is a masterclass in false advertising. Three Carriers, Zero Connection I went into the show fully loaded: a Verizon SIM, a T-Mobile SIM, and an AT&T phone tethered as a third backup. On paper, I should have been invincible. In reality? The router still dropped the connection constantly. SpeedFusion is a total joke—it doesn't bond anything effectively; it just adds a mountain of lag and overhead. Having three different major carriers active and still losing internet is pathetic for a device that costs this much. The Software is a Nightmare The "Peplink App" is barely functional, and the actual web interface feels like it hasn’t been updated in fifteen years. It is completely counter-intuitive. If you think you’re going to just "plug and play," think again. You’ll spend hours digging through menus that make no sense, and even then, it won't work right. Scam-Level Customer Service When I reached out for help because the hardware was failing me, they were useless. They refused to give me straightforward instructions on how to fix the drops—even though it’s clearly an issue they could fix on their server side. After it failed me at CES, I sent it back. They had the audacity to only refund 50% of the price. They are basically stealing $300 from me for a product that never worked as advertised. Bottom line: This is a hobbyist project being sold at professional prices. It’s unreliable, the software is trash, and the company will rob you on the return. Stay far away.

such a great solution
Works great for my use (truck camping, using 2 SIMs and also sometimes a Starlink). Has all the features I want and need. Wish a similar unit was offered for a more affordable price, but ruggedized for temperature, humidity, and ignition spikes.

Zero Regrets here! Just Buy it !!!
1st, realize that this is a pro-sumer, light commercial device and not a dumbed down consumer box. 2nd, it is FANTASTIC! I love this unit. yes, it takes a little fortitude to configure it just the way you want it, but you can do almost anything you need! Zero Regrets here!

Should have bought one sooner
Took me a bit of tinkering to get everything the way that I wanted, as the UI isn't the most intuitive thing in the world. However, once it's set up it is rock solid. I can simulate failovers on Teams/Zoom calls with 0 downtime, no more awkward "sorry my internet went down" excuses to my customers!

An RVers Dream
Coming from a Surf SOHO which was amazing for its time, this brings multi-wan to a whole new level. I have been able to balance my connections (Starlink, local WIFI, cellular) across multiple connections, prioritize streaming to certain connections, and perfect the concept of failover with this device. If you have multiple WAN connections, you can't go wrong with this router.
