Accurate, easy to use, and a long shef life.. Sealed in individual moisture proof packets they can be stored and used in humid areas. They have a large sturdy plastic handle that keeps the urine off your fingers. They are accurate and at about $3 bucks a pop, much less expensive than a co-pay for a Doctor's Office visit - and helps to keep you from bothering your doctor too much. I tried the much cheaper paper only strips that came in a bottle but they did not last due to moisture contamination which actually created false positives long before I realized that all the strips in the bottle had changed color themselves.

If you suffer from frequent UTI's or urinary tract discomfort or pain and are always running to the doctors office because you think you have a UTI then this a great product to use to check to see if you are overly sensitive or if you do have an infection. I used to be able to buy these at my local drug store but I no longer can. I was delighted to find the exact same product on Amazon. They are quick and very easy to use!

What the instruction DON'T tell you is the correct doctor approved methos of using these strips. For home use, your test should be the first thing in the morning, Not in the day or after a meal. Next pee in a "urine sample bottle" available from your doctor or pharmacy free usually. This eliminate the contamination from your cavity liquids. Dip the strip into the bottle and wait only a count of three and then lay the test strip on a piece of tissue paper and start counting (this is VERY important. ONE minute for the Nitrate pad and 2 minutes for the Leukocytes pad. Read the nitrate first and compare the color. after another read the other pad, do this because the nitrate (one minute pad) will turn not be accurate after one minute, so you have to know that Purply is is bad, and beige is good, so look for purple on both padds after 1 min and 2 mins. ( if the urine is cloudy, then you are almost sure you have an infection starting). Cloudy urine the first pee of the morning is a sign that is basically a clue that you have bacteria in the urine. These strip are only as good as the person reading them. It you get regular UTI's then you should already know PURPLE is the infection. If only one is purple, you probably don't have an infection, but should see your doctor anyway. Burning while urinating is either an infection, a kidney stone, or another problem

My wife is disabled and subject to frequent urinary track infections. As she is disabled it is difficult to get her to a lab for testing. I have used this product in addition to the lab to convince my doctor that the product is accurate. Because of that step my doctor is willing to except the findings, in addition to other symptoms, over the telephone and order the antibiotics without going through the difficult lab testing phase. This has worked well and we appreciate it

Good warning product but not entirely accurate. Dr. gave me clean bill of health and same day still tested as infected with AZO
