I'm no electrician but I do have a need to routinely check batteries and occasionally home outlets. I just needed the basics in a multimeter. And this unit did just that. It seems remarkably well put together for the price. The extra features of the kickstand and the rubberized "cover" were definite plusses. Worked as advertised. This unit is the one to have in your tool chest even if you have a sophisticated multimeter that meets all your needs. This little one is a great "first responder".

I dont think i know enough about these kinds of items to leave a review. But in first usage for auto fuses , find it works as advertised. M a bit confusing in what sequence to connect diodes. Other than that works as expected.

I ordered this specifically to test my grounding sheets. I have testers for batteries, outlets, car batteries, so didn’t need this for that. It does test those things but the one task I need it for it does not do. To test grounding sheets you put the tester in 200V AC mode, place the black prong on the grounding sheet and the red palm to your body. It should read something like 1 or 2 volts. The you touch your hand to the grounding sheet and it goes to zero, showing the grounding sheet works. This does not read the voltage of your body, it just shows zero, showing it does not read low AC voltage. Don’t get it if you want to test grounding sheets or pads.

The product works great but I had to look up how to use one online, I have a box of fluorescent bulbs and the sharpie markings to tell me which were burnt out faded. This is absolutely the way to solve the problem without climbing mountains and fiddling with the bulb and receptacle. It also tested a car battery that had been sitting a while in my basement. They could have made it a little clearer how to use them for the average person and what they could be used for.

for the price it is a good multimeter to have as a spare or to keep in a vehicle emergency tool kit....the other nice thing is that it is small to store and carry with you...the numbers are easy to read... I am not sure on durability because I have not used it much...it feels cheaply made but for basic trouble shooting and testing it does what it is intended for

Bought it initially just for some car battery/alternator testing. Works as expected so far. Just some voltage readings needed but it did the job well. Backlight is good, lightweight and the plastic case it sits in adds good protection to the unit.
