I’ve been using the Tractive GPS cat tracker for my adventurous cat, and I’m thoroughly impressed! Features: - I love the virtual fence that sends an alert whenever my cat strays beyond our set boundaries. - Plus, the territory analysis gives me insight into my cat's roaming habits and where he get's his daily snacks from. - Live Tracking works solid when needed - Scoreboard is a nice to have, but I think it's more relevant for dog owners (walking the dog or similar) Battery: While the website mentions a battery life of up to 7 days, mine lasted a solid 10 days using the power saving zone I set up — definitely a pleasant surprise. Subscription: Pricing is okay, especially when you go for a longer period as the monthly costs go down. But thinking about the features and the peace of mind you get it's definitely worth it. Overall, it’s a fantastic combination of safety and health tracking, making it an essential tool for any cat parent. Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant tracker. I am a very anxious cat owner having had three cats die on the roads. My cat Percy was therefore a house cat but he was unhappy and clearly wanted to go outside. So I bought him one of these trackers and it works brilliantly. It’s sturdy, hasn’t fallen off him yet, has good battery life, is really accurate on the tracking side of things, and it doesn’t bother him at all to wear. Mind you he is a big cat at 7 kg! So to conclude, I have to say the tracker has done exactly what I wanted it to do. The reason I bought it was 50% to keep Percy safe, and 50% stop to stop me from getting anxious. And it’s worked! Highly recommended.

It works in semi rural area, has battery saving mode, simple to use, signal quality is good and I even kept track of him whilst not being at home. Yes I had to pay a subscription but for the peace of mind, it was worth the premium package which was under £200 for 2 years. So far it has stayed attached to the cat. The cat snuck out today, pitch black morning, saw him on the app, as I got closer, I get to. Activate a light mode and a sound mode to light up the tracker and made a noise so I could see him playing hide and seek in the bushes, not far from home. Soon as he realised he was spotted, he happily trotted over to follow me home. The light and sound mode is best used when closer to the tracker or it will waste battery. Plus if they lose the collar with tag, you can always retrieve it back due to the light and sound function. The only downside and why it didn't get 5 star is the battery life. I get a good 2-3 days usage before it needs charging again but that is due to me always curious and switching on live tracking when he's out and about rather than leave him be and look on the history later to see where he has been. The other downside is the size. It's fine for a small westie type size dog but I find it a bit bulky for a cat. My cat did have to get used to wearing it, I left it on the cat when he was indoors to get used to walking with it and he managed to remove it until I had to tighten the collar and adjust the strength of the lock release mechanism on the collar provided. It does take the cat a few days to get used to bulky tracker around his neck. If I had a maine coon cat then it wouldn't look so out of place with their extra fluff and extra bigger size.

Our adventurous cat managed to slip the collar 3 times in the first week, finally in an inaccessible place. So, the safety catch works, but perhaps a little too well, despite checking the fit and weight setting after each loss. We decided to cancel the subscription and not replace it, as she obviously wasn't going to keep it on. It was good to see her territory, when she was wearing it. However, when she lost it, the accuracy of the Bluetooth was not enough to find it. The signal 'hops' around. We had to go to the woodland at twilight and use the light feature to track it down. The battery did last longer than expected though. The noise is inaudible for the purposes of finding it in woodland. Customer service was good though, when I sought to cancel the subscription.

We have a small cat so have always been put off by tracker collars due to size. Our little one refuses to wear any other collar and constantly lost them. However, she went missing a few weeks back and we never want to go through that again. Hence buying a tracking collar! This one exceeded our expectations, decent tracking level, nice to see the history of her travels and battery life works well for us (she stays in overnight so we take it off and charge it then). Would definitely reccomend if you want to keep an eye on your cat. Obviously it’s not tiny, but it’s the smallest one we found with good reviews and we are happy with it, it doesn’t seem to bother her much she is still catching things (despite the bell) and doesn’t fight us when we put it on in the morning!

This is not a proper GPS tracker and it failed to track even at intervals when my cat left the house. In addition, when she was in the house the app showed ‘no GPS signal’ so again failed to provide any location information! The battery drains rapidly if you try to use all of the features so it has to be charged daily. That’s okay if you and cat are together at the same time, although as it fails to track anyway, being charged doesn’t make any real difference. It is quite heavy for a small cat and in fairness they do recommend animals of more than 3 kg. The app did not produce a proper history of movements and there is no realtime tracking either. Overall a complete bust. I would note that I live in a rural area and perhaps this functions better in cities. Regardless, it was sold as being a GPS tracker and it doesn’t provide location information. The photo shows that at just after 3pm the last information logged was at 10.40 in the morning. The cat could have made it anywhere in those hours.

​J'ai acheté ce collier GPS pour mon chat et je suis très satisfait ! L'installation est super simple et l'application mobile est intuitive. J'ai pu définir des zones de sécurité et je reçois des notifications dès que mon chat en sort. La précision du GPS est impressionnante, je sais exactement où il se trouve. La batterie tient bien la charge et le collier est léger, ce qui ne semble pas le déranger du tout. C'est un excellent investissement pour la sécurité de mon chat. Je recommande vivement !

Thought it might be bulky but our small Manx doesn’t mind it at all. It’s been amazing to see where he goes during the day! Longer battery would be good but it’s a really quick charge.

Väldigt enkel att komma igång med och skönt att vid behov kunna se vart katten är och väldigt intressant att se hur han tillbringat sin dag. Sen första inställningarna har man inte behövt göra något mer utan det bara fungerar
