I had stopped using the Ethique natural deodorant as it was crumbly and broke apart too easily. But not anymore! I decided to give it another try and so glad I did. It glides on smooth and doesn’t crumble. Works very well, same as before but just goes on easier. It is not an antiperspirant so you will sweat, but the odor is well controlled. I use the unscented so as not to conflict with body lotion. Another plus, the natural deodorants like Ethique do not make dingy grey and yellow stains on your white and light colored clothing or shirts! Lastly this packaging is all cardboard! Win for environment too! No plastic!

PROS: Natural deodorant can be hit or miss and I can honestly say this one is a big HIT. Of course, you need to understand this is a deodorant, NOT an antiperspirant. You will still sweat but you won't stink! Due to severe contact allergies and eczema, I have to be very careful about the products I use on my skin (I use an app to help me find safe products). This is one of the few safe deodorants for me, and I gotta say - I love it! I've been using the Unscented stick for 4 or 5 years now and have always had great results. My armpits never stink, even when doing outdoor activities. I also appreciate that all the packaging is recyclable. CONS: I can tell the past couple of stick's I've used (the old packaging in grey) is a different formulation than it used to be. It still works great, but it's softer than before and super "flaky" I guess. Every time I apply it, no matter how careful I am, it will ball up, fall, and get all over my bathroom floor. I also have to dab my armpits to get the extra "chunks" off. A little annoying and feels like a waste of product. Which is disappointing because these aren't cheap! I just placed an order for the new pink packaging, so I hope this one is better. The other con with the old packaging is the product will get stuck in the tube making it hard to push it up. I think it's because there's too much friction between the base holding the deodorant stick and the tube. Hopefully this is remedied with the new packaging. Overall, this is a great product that is clean and safe for sensitive skin.

This is my favorite all-natural, aluminum-free deodorant, and I've tried quite a few. It keeps me dry, doesn't irritate my under-arm skin, and slides on easily. Best of all, it's plastic free. When you get down to the bottom and the last bit of deodorant tends to fall out of the container, you can just throw out the last bit and recycle the cardboard container. The bamboo powder is what successfully absorbs the sweat when you're outside on a hot day. It's not abrasive on your skin. The only con is that you will see the residue on the armpit area of your clothes, but this is a problem with all deodorants. It seems like it needs warmer water to come out of your clothes--or your clothes need to go in the dryer.

I first purchased the unscented a few years ago. Didn’t stick with it at the time because it was a bit challenging to spread. Recent life events made me give it another try and I loved it, so I bought a fresh one to keep at my partners place. Unfortunately they ruined it. While it is now almost too easy to spread, either something got mispackaged, or they lie about there not being essential oils in the current iteration of the unscented. Because I put it on and got punched in the face with some sort of mint or tea tree or something similar. It was extremely unpleasant and very blatantly scented. Simply put if you’re like me and want something that is truly fragrance free this is no longer a product you should consider.

I almost NEVER rate something five stars ⭐️ … I had a stick of the Botanica scent (lavender vanilla) and it lasted me a full 6 months! When I ran out only the Minimalist was available; I was worried unscented wasn’t going to cut it, but tried anyway and I’m glad I did! There’s no added scent to this, but to me it has a VERY subtle limey smell (you really have to try to smell it) It is a bit more creamy/less dry than the Botanica It works just as well though! I only need to apply this every 2-3 days and I use a body powder on heavy sweat days. This product does not contain baking soda, so it doesn’t give me an underarm rash like most natural deodorants. This is the only natural deodorant I’ve used that works, continues to work over time, and doesn’t give me a rash or irritation. So far I have not noticed any staining on clothes, though the minimalist does leave white on skin, Botanica leaves lavender color I also love that the product comes in all recyclable and compostable materials - NO PLASTIC WASTE! PROS: NO STRONG OR ARTIFICIAL SCENTS GOES ON SMOOTH LASTS AT LEAST 24 HOURS 1 STICK LASTS ME 6 MONTHS ECO LOVING CONS: NONE! Buy this product, it is really fabulous and earns its 5 stars

This is a nice plastic free deodorant. I have quite a few allergies and it did not make me itchy. It’s close to unscented, although it does have a nice fragrance that might just be the natural smell of the ingredients. It is good enough for most days in the cool climate where I live; however on hot days or when I’ve been really sweaty from aerobic exercise it didn’t prevent as much odor as traditional deodorants.

Great product that isn’t full of toxuccchemicals. It does leave white on your clothes so be careful dressing. My daughter who has hormonal BO occasionally even raves about the effectiveness of this deodorant.
