I searched far and wide looking up specs trying to find a replacement for my current lock that says 2300-1061-2 on it (old lock in photo, no photo of new lock, it's in my door). Found a lot of other people looking for a replacement for the same part but no recommended replacements. After reviewing tons of drawings and manuals, I determined this lovely 4 5/8" Mortisse lock should fit. They shipped it quickly and within 2 days I had my replacement lock. Installation took less than 5 min and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. Other hardware stores wanted to charge twice the price and most didn't have the correct size.

Worked perfectly to replace a broken latch mechanism on our sliding door. Took about five minutes to install using a phillips screwdriver and a small flat-head to adjust the hook.

don't know why I didn't do this earlier. Easy to replace latch that has not worked for many years (been using the broom handle in track). Fit perfectly and easy
