My wife and I no longer are watching our sons participate in athletic events. No, we're not MUCH older and are watching our grandchildren participate in their athletic contests. What's that saying? 'The mind can only absorb what the seat can endure?' I'd purchased a very inexpensive 'stadium seat' over a year ago on sale and used it watching our grandsons' basketball games. It was definitely more comfortable than sitting on what felt like granite bleacher seats! BUT I rationalized that if we were going to watch many games I needed something more substantial and better comfort. My research began. There really didn't seem to be any 'clear winner' in all of my research and I ended up selecting this one and after using it now maybe 3 or 4 X watching basketball games I'm really glad that I did and here's why. PADDING, COMFORT and BACK SUPPORT!!! The seat pad is thick and extremely comfortable. One of my questions before purchase related to the back support. Did the support frame interfere with comfort...absolutely not. Another question I had was....due to these seats being 'bleacher seats' probably more often thought to be used on those metal, outdoor bleachers so you can use the underside metal clips to secure them.....how will they work on inside bleachers? Will they not be secure if you lean back to get some back support/relief? Answer. Work great and even though you can't clamp them to the bleach, they are secure enough to get that back support which eliminates that back fatigue that builds up otherwise. When I did my research I recall there were negative comments about this seat. One pertained to it's considerable weight. I would agree that it is 'heavy'. But...absolutely NOT too heavy. It has several places on it that can be used as handles to hold and carry and it also has a shoulder strap to carry it that way if you wish. When I use this it's not like I'm hiking the Appalachian Trail with it! I'm going to a gym and parking is usually reasonably close and I can't imagine this being too heavy for that. We're older....not frail. Another negative aspect I read before purchase was about the process of unfolding it before using it and then subsequently folding it back up after using it. Those concerns, as it turns out, are also valid. I've told my son and his wife kiddingly that I'm needing to put my 'college degrees' to good use to set if up and take it down!!! It's not entirely intuitive and easy to accomplish. You need to take time to familiarize yourself with the process....trust me...it's doable. When I look at the 'negative points' of this seat in the balance of things, my purchase was absolutely well-worth it! It comes down to being able to comfortably watch our grandchildren participate in their athletic contests and not bemoan the fact that the bleachers are just the latest torture devices evolved from the Middle Ages! Super comfortable!! I can deal w/the other stuff!

I love this chair and it is a game changer for football and volleyball games. The seat is so comfortable. The back it nice because it is taller so it give great support and feels good when you rock back plus it has the hooks under the chair to provide stability when you rock back. It folds out and back easily. It is light weight so it is easy to carry over your shoulder. Great value for the money. It looks great, great quality, and is so comfy - I highly recommend.

A little tough to click in and then apart. But I expect it to get easier with each use. Nice and compact, easy to carry. Comfortable and supports the back. Lover the padded shoulder stap for carrying.

These chairs are comfortable and light weight without being too bulky. The quality is good and I would recommend this seat to anyone that spends a lot of time in bleachers.

Received in 2 days. Got to useful first time last Friday. Very easy to set up and takedown. Very comfortable, seat padded well and back has a little recliner. Love it.!

A bit cumbersome to carry from car.

It's a little difficult to get used to folding up. I pinched my hand the first time I used it. The seat isn't quite as cushy as I'd hoped, but it's much more comfortable than a metal stadium seat. The most important feature was the back support, and it was great. I have a bad back. After spending three days sitting in the bleachers, my back wasn't screaming. The strap is basically just a thick strip of ribbon, but it held up well with rough use. The entire chair folds up to the size of a large handbag. It was much less bulky folded up than most of the other stadium seats I saw others carrying. I had a backpack as well as this chair and it was easy to carry them both.

Great find! Easy to carry and comfortable to sit on. I really like the taller back for more support. I also like the fact that it doesn't crowd the person behind me like others do.
