Easy to carry concealed and deploy nearly instantly. Not RAZOR sharp and given the geometry it is not easy to sharpen. But, I missed the scabbard in my front pocket while putting it away, and it went through my jeans and into my thigh like butter. And my thighs aren't buttery. Not really anyway. And that was before I sharpened it. Be careful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Design changes for the better!!! *by V***8 on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2020* I was concerned with a few things when I bought this but wanted a concealable dagger for my work since I work in a company that I'm not allowed to carry a firearm. Firstly, I was worried about having to sit down and sharpen this dagger again. I read that they come with only the first inch sharpened. This is false. The entirety of the blade was sharp. Both sides. Secondly, the belt retention clip wasn't strong enough to pull from your pocket or your belt. They must have fixed this issue because mine is extre.ly tight and it takes some strength to pull it over my belt. After several practice draws from both pockets, cross draw, and from my belt, the sheath has not slipped. Although there are a few things I would have personally gone away with in the design, such as the half moon peice of plastic that is at the top of the sheath which stops you from placing your index finger in the hole completely, i would say this is a really strong purchase. There is also no retension to the blade when its in the sheath. So if by chance ur upside down or hanf the knife upside down, there is a strong chance the knife will come out. I did only purchased the dagger and not the trainer dagger as I thought 35 bucks for a hunk of plastic in the shape of a knife was a bit wild, I would strongly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a ccw. Quality you would expect from Benchmade. You won't be disappointed. I have had mine for 3 months. Fit and finish of everything is still great. I've never needed, but I always know where it is and can always get to it if I need it.This knife simply makes sense, works, and could save your life one day. Plus if you wear your shoulder mic on your chest like I do, the clip actually helps to keep your mic in place. When I practice deploying this knife, my hand goes to my shoulder mic on my chest and I know exactly where the finger hole for my knife will be.
