So far this dehumidifier has been great. It works well and has really helped keep the space feeling more comfortable and less humid, especially in larger rooms. I also like that it actually looks nice and blends in with my house instead of being an eyesore like some appliances.The noise level is a steady hum..it might bother some people, but to me it’s not too loud or distracting at all. It actually reminds me of my grandma’s old fridge running in the background whenever I used to sleep over. Kind of a comforting, familiar sound that I didn’t expect from a dehumidifier.Overall, it’s been reliable, quiet enough for daily use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’m really happy with it so far. Easy to use!

Unboxing the dehumidifier was very easy and I didn’t need help. It came with plenty of instructions that were in the correct language. Setting it up was also easy. Moving it around on the casters (nice touch) was smooth.Iff tv is very quiet and has been running for approximately an hour. The humidity in the air has already been reduced by 15%. I live in Houston so we need dehumidifiers.Manufacturer provides an additional 3 year warranty. Definitely a plus.I would recommend.

Works better than I believed. I was skeptical about the whole room dehumidifier thing. Put it on the laundry setting, came back in a few hours and the reservoir was full! My gosh it does work. After days, the humidity was gone from the room completely. It's the little dehumidifier that could!

The plusxenr dehumidifier is a choice of mine for our 1150sq ft apartment with 2 bedroom 2 bath walk in closets and we live in Irvine centerpoint and I setup a smarthome because I kept getting pneumonia &got a commercial expensive air purifier and monitored our air quality humidity c02 and monitor the air right outside my patio so I could know when to circulate and freshen the indoor air and I was battling my autoimmune disease that presented debilitating symptoms that weren't diagnosed until ome was comstant hot flashes sweating and the ac was being kept at 60 degrees and saw these for 169 each and they do 52pints a day with a 15 pint buckets nut did not list the bucket size so I contacted Amazon about that for a partial refund of 20% each unit, but overall they are incredibly energy efficient and effective they brought the humidity down from 65%+ to 44% and was able to put the ac at 68 and it felt like 60 and no longer was i battling full body sweating 24/7 and stopped my reoccurring pneumonia and I no longer need to use 3 different inhalers 3 times a day and it reduced my ac bill improved my overall health including my 12 year old dogs very nice units none other compared.

Works well. Helps keep the humidity out of the house specifically the living room. Runs quiet.

I would describe the PLUSCENT 32 Dehumidifier for Basement as a small, quiet, and very effective product for basements, bedrooms, or bathrooms. It has 21 pints/day capacity (at high humidity) with really cool LED lights. The hose connection is super secure and doesn’t leak at all from what I’ve noticed and it even used the continuous draining option. The noise level was soft and smooth like butter. Have small kids? No worries! It actually helps mine fall asleep now after getting used to the constant, quiet hum of the machine. Most things I buy, I return because I end up hating them, but this dehumidifier is more than a great value for the money! I fully recommend you get one! 💕

I've had Dehumidifiers previously and was looking for a replacement for my Frigidaire that was petering out after 5 years. I came across this and on sale. Good reviews so I went ahead and purchased it. As soon as the box was dropped off I had my doubts and when I opened it....well, it seemed more like a toy vs what I had purchased previously. All of the positive/rave reviews a somewhat mind boggling, to say the least.I figured I would set it up (very easy/quick) and see how things went.Well, just over 24 hours after turning the unit on my HUMIDITY LEVEL in my basement actually went up. Yes, the unit was set to dehumidify and with a target of 40%.My basement is 700 sq ft. The unit is rated for 1,500 sq ft. I purchased it, among other reasons, because it specifically stated it was designed to work in basements.OK...this thing is more like a cheap toy. The fan is ridiculously underpowered, the hose is some very cheap, short, corrugated piece of plastic, the unit is very small....and it did not blow out any warm air after it was turned on, which should have signified that it was actually doing it's job ie dehumidifying the air.After running continuously for over 25 hours, it had done nothing to decrease the humidity (the humidity level actually went up from initial 64% to 70%) and there was no indication of any moisture being withdrawn from the area as the drain hose was as dry as when it was first attached and no water/condensate coming out from the end where it was set over the drain.I even took photos of the unit showing the current humidity level at the time..............................*********************Updated Review***************I initiated contact with Pluscent shortly after receiving the dehumidifier and realizing it was not functioning properly.I have had dehumidifiers for over 15 years so I am well versed on how they work and what results I should be seeing.Amber from Pluscent reached out to me very quickly and not only offered sincerest apologies for my situation but also recommendations on what might be causing my situation.I would have to say that this is some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The initial response and then the continued follow up really is a rarity as well as the genuine concern ---- > A+I was offered a couple of different options ie return & refund or replacement. In the end, Pluscent went ABOVE and BEYOND and I could not be more pleased with the situation that did not initially begin well.My only advice is buy, buy, buy the extended warranty if you have a unit with a 1 year or so warranty. You can tack on an extra 2-3 years of coverage in case something goes wrong and for that extra $10-15 a year cost to the unit after averaging out is worth not only peace of mind but also assurance that you get your monies worth for whatever unit/brand you purchase. Also, you can get the units on sale at some point depending on the brand and time of year, so the extra cost makes even more sense.JMO**********2nd Update BACK TO 1 STAR***************Customer Service is Great. I was not only sent a replacement unit but a larger capacity one. 52 Pints Per Day Capacity/Removal.It functioned just as, if not more, poorly than the original unit that I purchased. I tested it 2 times via collecting the water that was removed from the area and the unit removed ~1/4-1/3 the capacity stated it could within a 24 hour period. I have photos which I will upload showing how much water was collected in a 5 gallon bucket.This is essentially junk... Customer Service was very responsive and respectful but 2x receiving units that don't even come close to performing as advertised is a BIG NO for me. The temperature in the basement was perufine and I purchased a separate hygrometer to monitttge temp as well as the humidity levels. Additionally, both units failed to adequately reduce the humidity levels and remained pretty constant @ ~ 56-60% which is unacceptable.Just couldn't make a dent and the space is roughly ~750 SQ ft with fans blowing as well to circulate the air
