It lathers well and doesn't really have any smell to it. But it stripped my skin of moisture so badly that I needed to apply a heavy moisturiser afterwards. I have combination skin that usually corrects itself after washing, without the application of a moisturiser. I haven't got as far as using it for the 4 - 6 weeks they recommend to get nicely hydrated skin because of the negative effects of using it for 10 days.It might be better used on the body (haven't tried it yet), but if so it's far too expensive to be used for that IMO. If it worked on my face I'd stick with it as the bar should last well.I've read reviews saying how small the bar is. I think the size is ok given it's intended for facial use. But the packaging is big so it makes it look worse when you open the box and find a little block hidden inside.
