How can you tell which side is coated ?

The coated side has a slightly glossier finish to it. In the instructions we include with the product we say "Please make sure the slightly glossy surface of the special paper is facing upwards – nothing will happen if the paper is the wrong way up. (If no prints appear, quickly turn the paper over, re-apply the wipe and try again)". If you are using them on a regular basis you soon get used to it and find it easier to tell which side is coated at a glance.

Hello, please can you let me know if the paper will pass through a normal inkjet printer so that you could print a name etc on it befor ink printing ?

The paper is more like thin card. As long as the printer can cope with the thickness then yes it is perfectly ok to print on the paper. You just need to make sure you are printing on the correct side as only one side has the special coating on it.

How long can the wipes and special paper be kept? 2 years?

The manufacturer guarantees the wipes for 3 years if they are kept sealed in the packets and stored at room temperature. The paper should be kept dry and stored out of daylight.
