My cat is so difficult to give medication to, but these have been an absolute game changer. Simple and effective. Sometimes they are a bit squashed by the time they arrive but they just mould around the tablet, and my cat loves the taste!

I originally bought a package of these from our vet when she prescribed some pills for our dog. She said although marketed for cats, they are safe and work great for dogs too. Later when I needed more, I found these here on Amazon. There are a couple of other sellers selling these, but they ask significantly more money for them. When I purchased these from this seller, it cost me roughly the same as what the vet charged me, but, I didn't have to drive to the vet to get them (Amazon delivery) ! They worked great using the instructions on the bag on how to use them. Our dog didn't mind taking his pills this way. I gave "flavour" 5 stars because my dog will eat them... otherwise he spits pills out immediately. I had to keep it small so that he wouldn't want to chew the wrapped pill - if he chewed it, he'd taste the pill and he would spit it out. So larger pills (with our vet's approval) I cut in half and put each in it's own little pill pocket. Later when our vet prescribed capsules, these would not fit into a pill pocket easily. So a mashed the pill pocket flat between my fingers (and so made it warmer and thereby a bit more malleable). Next I rolled it like plasticine and made a little oblong pancake out of it. I then rolled the pancake around the capsule. I adjusted the wrapping a bit by mushing the stuff around a little until the capsule was mostly covered. Our dog however sometimes would bite down on it and out the capsule would come. What ended up working perfectly was taking some of his favorite dog biscuits/hard treats and scraping them with a knife so that I got some of this treat in powder form. Then before giving him the wrapped capsule, I would roll it in this powder which stuck easily to the (pill pocket) wrapped capsule. As he loves this taste, he now always swallows the capsules prepared this way whole. No more problems. I wish I would have known about this product long time ago. Giving pills to our dog is now much much easier. This is a great product

Unser Kater leidet an einer schweren Bauchspeicheldrüsenentzündung und muss aktuell drei verschiedene Antibiotika einnehmen. Am ersten Tag konnten wir die Tabletten noch mit Schleckies unterjubeln, aber danach hat er sofort gemerkt, was wir vorhaben. Von da an war es fast unmöglich, ihm die Medikamente zu geben. Es wurde sogar so schlimm, dass er kaum noch fressen wollte, weil er ständig vermutet hat, dass irgendwo eine Tablette versteckt ist. Wir haben wirklich alles ausprobiert: Leberwurst, laktosefreien Joghurt, verschiedene Tricks – nichts hat funktioniert. Dann bin ich über eine Google-Recherche auf diese Pill Pockets gestoßen. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich nicht mehr viel Hoffnung. Und was soll ich sagen: Es hat sofort funktioniert! Wir konnten die Tabletten einfach darin verstecken und unser Kater hat das Leckerli ohne Zögern gefressen. Ich konnte mein Glück kaum fassen. Von mir eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

Great way to give your pets the medicine they need. It's important to figure out the right size for your pet. My 10lb dog needs 2 small tabs x 2 a day. So, I use this small feline size for each tab. Works very well as my dog loves the smell of the chicken and doesn't even bother to chew them. He just swallows them whole and so goes the pill without concern he may find it and spit it out. Stress free!
